The best winter coats for PETITE women. Hello, all my Petite readers! In this blog post, I will give you some general petite coat tips and style recommendations. When that will be out of the way, you can relax, have a coffee and choose one of the winter coats for Petites that I listed here.

I decided that the best way to divide these coats is by price point. Dividing by price gives you a better look at coats and choose the ones within your budget. Today and in upcoming blog posts, I will introduce you more to smaller Petite fashion brands. Winter coats that I chose are from retailers like Boohoo, ASOS, and others. However, today I wanted to bring recognition to smaller Petite brands as well that you must check out!

Petite coat tips and style recommendations
I hated how scammy it looked when I was only listing products. With my blog posts, I want to give more value to you and information. Therefore, I have started to add some history or just fashion tips.
Talking about coat tips for Petites, I would recommend not choosing too long coats. I would suggest medium length, preferably mid-thigh. However, if you want to feel very warm, then definitely not below the knee.
Try to stay away from very puffy, “fat” coats because they will make you look wider than taller (a small ball). I suggest having double-breasted coats or V-neck coats (but then you will need to have a scarf to keep your neck warm). However, V-necks lengthen your torso a lot!
Last but not least, choose belted coats or coats with cinched in the waist! I have seen (and will list below) puffer coats that are very puffy but have a belt that gives your body an hourglass shape!

Petite belted puffer jacket in black
The Missguided hooded puffer jacket is everything you have to pass cold winters while still looking the best. The Puffer coat has a faux fur hood that will keep your head warm. I do not like that most coats do not have hoods in case it is cold. However, the best part is that it is right as style tips say- medium long and with a belt that cinches in your waist! Finally, it is time for Winter coats for PETITES 2021.
Belted wool coat for Petites
Let me introduce you to Dane fashion- a small brand that sells only Petite fashion. Not only that, their style is very chic, elegant, and classy- right up my alley! I have been looking at their Over-the-knee boots for the last week. However, this is not about boots but winter coats for Petites.
The coat I chose has trendy puffy balloon sleeves, while still keeping the usual elegance that wool coats have. The coat from Dane fashion has a V-neck line, as well as a belt. I said- it is perfect. It comes in two colors- black and beige!
Double layer faux fur poncho
Can I tell you that I feel very happy to see everywhere faux fur instead of real fur? The poncho will look amazing on petite elderly ladies. This beautiful grey poncho is elegant, sophisticated, and very cosy! I would suggest layering the poncho with turtle neck sweaters (as the coat is the open front).
Petite Borg aviator in black
I chose the Borg aviator coat because I am a fan of leather jackets in the Fall. The jacket or coat reminds me of that, but it is just much warmer and longer as well! Therefore, if you are a leather jacket lover, this might be for you! The jacket looks very trendy and stylish for a streetwear style lover.
Petite scuba skater coat in black
The perfect and most flattering coat for Petites that there exists. I know that because I have a similar design and silhouette Fall coat from Forever New Petite. This winter coat for Petites has a high neck that will keep you warm, a very steady, wide belt to cinch in your waist, and the skater design skirt giving a very feminine and girly look! However, I now noticed that the coat also has vertical stripe detailing giving an even more flattering and lengthening effect. Be quick, it is almost sold out ( if it is, look at other coats as ASOS has a few, and each country has a bit different stock).
Winter coats from $100-$200
Petite teddy faux fur shacket
I was surprised to see a bit pricier clothing on Boohoo, but here we are! When teddy coats were on their rise, I was still sleeping. Therefore, Only a month ago, I got my first teddy faux fur jacket, and I am obsessed- I wear it everywhere, it is cozy, does not wrinkle, and goes with everything. Therefore, if you are still waiting, get yours now because it is worth it! Talking about the teddy faux fur coat, it comes in three colors- pink, black and white (you can look like an actual little sheep). I would choose the white one because there is something special about white in winter. As well as black buttons add a nice detail to all-white coat! The coat also has a belt that cinches in your waist. However, I love the lower edge of it. The front and back are longer but on the sides it curves up a little bit, giving you a longer silhouette.
Petite faux suede aviator jacket
The LOFT aviator jacket is similar to the ASOS one. However, instead of leather, the jacket is all in suede! Beautiful and flattering jacket, with double breast collar in V-shape and silver zipper! The jacket looks good quality and comfortable as well! I can even see it styled up with a dress or mini skirt, as well as something more casual like jeans or even sweatpants.
Plaid wool coat
The main reason why I had to share the coat with you is Emily in Paris. I am obsessed with the series and the new season coming up on the 21st of December. The coat reminds me of her shorts and blazer set. However, I prefer a plaid coat, which reminds me of Paris and looks elegant, especially if you often wear red lips or accessories.
Petite belted faux fur coat
The Karen Millen coat barely makes it to this price point. However, I had to include one fully faux fur coat- soft and cosy! It has a belt to cinch in the waist, as well as a V neckline, and pockets! We love pockets! The coat is in a classy cream-white tone. It was also in black, but it is sold out (if you travel by bus each day, it may not be the best option).
Winter coats above $200
Faux fur collar puffer coat
The best Winter coats for PETITE women are puffer coats to keep you warm. Ann Taylor’s puffer coat is not too puffy (just as I like personally). However, at the same time, it looks warm and cozy. The coat has a belt that is simple to cinch in the waist. However, I would say that the best accent is the faux fur collar. I feel that the collar gives a bit of luxury and elegance to the coat.
Petite Signature Quilt long coat
I have seen many quilted coats but have not seen any as beautiful as this one. Probably the price speaks for itself. The quilted coat is available in Burgundy red and black and has the string on your waist to cinch in the coat, making it look very flattering around your waist.
Petite Check wool Military cape coat
This is another checked print coat, but a very different design. The wool coat has a military touch in it and has a cape cut around your shoulders. Suitable for elegant petite older ladies. I cannot stop looking at the coat because it gives me some superhero vibes!

I love puffer jackets as they keep me warm. However, I do not like how big they look. My personal favourite is classy wool coats, and I have one myself. However, today I fell in love with the quilted coat from Karen Millen and the LOFT aviator jacket!
