Do you think a lot about what to pack for a camping trip? Summer is here, we are finally allowed to leave our houses and camping season can start! My partner and I are checking the weather in the Pyrenees each day to see when we will be able to finally go camping and enjoy nature. I have been travelling to camps since I was little. When I moved to Spain, I and my partner very fast fell in love with the camping culture and nature in general.
We both love to go hiking, we love nature and spend time in a quiet environment without a lot of people around. He is obsessed with cycling in the mountains but I can meanwhile shoot some photos for my blog or write a blog!
It has been around two years since we consistently visit campings and mountains in general. I have been hiking in jeans, a leather jacket, even a skirt, and street sneakers. Let me tell you, never to do that. But what to pack for a camping trip? I will try to clear your head with this checklist of what to pack for a camping trip.

Clothing checklist
After all, I am a fashion and style blogger. Therefore, I am going to pay the most attention to outfits and clothing. At the same time, this is a camping trip not a vacation in Paris, so the accent will be put on the clothes being comfortable and practical. Do not worry, I will add links to the clothing that will still look cute in your Instagram photos! What to pack for a camping trip when it comes to clothing?
Joggers
Joggers I think are the TOP clothing item for any camping or road trip! Sweatpants are very comfortable to wear in the car, chill at camping as well as go hiking up in the mountains. Therefore, I would suggest you have one pair of joggers with you.

Leggings
If we are talking about hiking and a lot of walking, leggings seem to be more comfortable than joggers. Maybe it is because they are skin-tight, it is safer that they will not get hooked onto some branch. Make sure though that the material is well-made, they are thick and have good support. Take extra stretchy cotton leggings for sleeping.

Hoodie
If we have sweatpants then we must have a cozy hoodie with us. Take yours so your poor partner can have his, I know how you girls are! Hoodies are great to chill in camping, put on at night if you get cold, and also worn during some hiking trips if it gets cold. On camping trips, you can never know the weather and conditions so you must be ready that it can get windy, rainy or maybe sunny and very hot.

Sneakers comfortable
Okay, this is the second must-have from all of these items. Should I move it to the top? Eh, let’s keep going. For the camping trip, you will need very comfortable sneakers. Better if they have a little higher sole (platform) and are meant for hiking or running. Boots would be the best ones for hikes but to be honest, sometimes it is very hot to wear actual boots, especially in summer. Therefore, I still choose my sneakers!
I found some good Nike sneakers for good price here.
Spare pairs of socks
You are going to nature, most likely sleeping in a tent and hiking in the mountains. Believe me when I tell you that you need some extra pairs of socks. They do not require a lot of space but you will regret it when your feet get wet or dirty!
Bikini
You will survive it if you do not take your bikini with you. However, if there is a swimming pool or lake in the camping area and it gets very hot, you will probably get upset about not having one. Therefore, a bikini or swimming suit is still essential for summer camping trips!
Shein has the best bikinis ever. I found tie dye one here.
Slippers
Many do not think about this but when you are chilling around the camping or at night want to go to the toilet. It is best to have slippers with you so you do not need to tie your sneakers and deal with all of that! Seriously, I forget my slippers many times for camping trips and I always regret it! Also, if there is a so-called swimming pool, you will want to have slippers for that reason as well, right?
I have these Nike shower slippers here.

Polyester jacket and pants
Another very essential clothing item to have is a polyester jacket and pants. We live more or less close to the mountains and try never to go camping if the weather is rainy but you never know. Especially if you go for a long hiking trip, take a polyester jacket and pants in your backpack in case of rain surprises you!
Baseball cap
Another time, you are going to survive without it but in case it is very sunny, to protect your head from the sun. Second, use it when hiking, leaves, and dirt from trees will not fall in your hair!
P.S. When I wrote the article on summer hats you must have HERE, I told you it would be necessary.

Sunglasses
A lot of people do not feel good wearing sunglasses but I do not feel good with a sun in my face. If you feel the same as I do, then sunglasses is one of the essentials, more like a luxurious essential. Through, they have helped me with a lot of wind or mosquitos as well!
T-shirts and basic tops
This is a pretty obvious one, just take some casual and basic tops that are very easy to wear and you will not feel bad about making them dirty!
BEAUTY, SKINCARE, AND HYGIENE
You can think that if it is just camping, you do not need any skincare and beauty products. It is pretty the opposite. We are not talking here about mascara or red lipsticks but some essentials are very important to protect your health! What to pack for a camping trip when it comes to beauty and skincare?
Sunscreen
Firstly, sunscreen is essential for camping trips. Even more important to remember the sunscreen for your face rather than the body! Then take the after lotion in case you do get burned.
Lip balm
Never forget your lip balm. In all the air and sun your lips most likely will get dry at some point and lip balm will be your lifesaver.

Hand cream
Any lotion or hand cream will help you in case you get some sore hocks, or if you just get dry hands or feet! Do not be scared to use hand cream on other spots of your body! Remember, it is all advertisements. Maybe it is not the best to put it on your face but your feet will not suffer.
Tissues
Tissues are the most essential thing to have. You are going to the camping, many times they will not have toilet paper in the bathroom, maybe running nose will visit you or anything else. Just an essential to always carry with you!
Dental care
We are stepping into pretty obvious hygiene products to have with you whenever you go away from your house for a day! Toothpaste and toothbrush are important to have. You can buy travel-sized toothpaste to not carry too much with you.
Dry shampoo
I will be honest, I have thick and long hair, I wash them once or twice a week. If I do a lot of active exercises, then more! Hair and head skin do not need to be rubbed and washed every single day except if you have very oily hair. Even then I have heard it can be one of the reasons. Therefore, when traveling for 2-3 days I will not have a shampoo with me but maybe you will want to have dry shampoo in case your hair feels very dirty or if you go to some restaurant in a local village for dinner. In general, you could even survive without the dry shampoo most likely!
Shower gel
The shower gel is another essential to have on a camping trip. I advise to take some foam shower gel, they are very moisturizing and you will not need a lot. Some good ones are from Eucerin and Rituals. Rituals also have a smaller version for travel.

Hand sanitizer
Hand sanitizer is a must-have item when you go outside the house! I always try to have one on hand and use it after the bathroom or before I eat. You will want one to use when you snack on something during hiking trips, as an example.
Wet wipes
Wet wipes have saved my night even when I just leave the house for dinner out. If you spill something on you, have sticky hands, or do not have where to wash your hair, wet wipes will help you out!
Deodorant
After all the walks and climbing, and hiking you do want to smell nice, right? Take the right one though without the aluminium inside it! We do not want to get any breast cancer, right?
Medicaments and first aid
Do not forget and go on any kind of trip without some basic medicines. You should have some pills for diarrhea, headache, some bandaids, and so on for any accident that can occur. I would also suggest some cream or special bandaids for blisters and vaseline in case your feet need it or your thighs (thick thigh girls will understand me).
