Seville is the city in Spain that I have wanted to see since I moved to Spain but never had a chance. So since we are here in the country house, around one or two hours from Seville, we had the spontaneous idea to take a look. I decided to share with you our weekend in Seville, what I wore, and the best places to see!
About Seville
Seville is the city in the South of Spain. One of the most popular cities in Spain and as we discussed that also one of the most traditional cities. Most of the stereotypes about Spain come from Seville. For instance, flamenco, bullfights, Spanish architecture and so much more. As we understood, also the stereotype of Spanish people being lazy and without the stress or rush in their lives. However, a beautiful city, with a lot of places to see, positive vibes and gastronomy restaurants.
Parking
The first mission when we reached Seville was to park our car. Obviously, not too far away from our accommodation and preferably- the cheapest possible. Surprisingly enough, even in August, a lot of parking spaces on the streets near the center are free. A nice touch from this beautiful city! Maybe the reason was that this summer there are no tourists, but locals on Saturday better prefer to be on the beach! The city was still filled with people but to be honest, not a lot. I would suggest though to not visit Seville 15th of August because it is some kind of local festival, and many shops and restaurants are closed. Did we decide to visit Sevilla exactly on the 15th of August? Yes, of course, we did!
Accommodations
Finding our accommodation was another surprise for me! We found a beautiful and comfortable apartment near the center of Seville for 4 persons/ 60 EUR. It is pretty cheap if you ask me!
The apartment hotel has 3 stars and is called Singular Siete Revueltas. Beautiful apartment, that was made in boutique style and had everything you need- small kitchen, WIFI, and towels!
If you ever visit Seville, I would recommend staying in this beautiful apartment Singular Siete Revueltas. You can look at their offers and book it HERE
The place even offers airport shuffle! The apartment is located only 500m from the Cathedral of Seville!
What to see in Seville?
Talking about cathedrals, in Seville, there is one on every corner. Another thing we realized about Seville that It looks a very religious city!
Cathedral de Seville
The biggest cathedral and the most important is the Cathedral of Seville. The enormous and huge cathedral that had a queue waiting to enter the whole time I was there! I am not religious people nor I would wait in such a queue to enter but it is something you must be ready for if you want to see the inside!
Plaza de Toros
The biggest bull ring in the whole of Spain is located in Seville. As I mentioned before, all the Spanish traditions come from Seville, and bullfights are one of them! In Seville, they are still very active up until this day. Am I very happy about it and support it? Not but I can appreciate the beautiful architecture. Though I would be happy to see markets or other reasons to use them for!
Talking about animal protection. Never use any horse rides etc in the cities like Seville, Cordoba, or any else. Every year many horses die out of exhaustion, thirsty, and hungry! They are not well taken care of. I even saw some horses breathing very very strongly because they were so hot and thirsty. As a tourist, you need to think where you put your money and what you support. Do not put it towards animals in the entertainment or tourism industry.
Royal Alcázar of Seville
Was built for a Christian king. I do not know a lot about the Alcázar, but I know that it is worth seeing and taking photos of. Very beautiful place with the park around.
Setas de Seville
Possibility to enter and climb up to see beautiful views over the city. However, we only passed them by but it is another cute spot for some fabulous photos! It was on our way therefore we passed by to see how it looks like! Impressive architecture piece.
Triana district
Triana is located on another side of the river. A nice district to have a walk around and have some drink or food! Very popular amongst locals and tourists. We were in Triana district on the 15th of August which is some festive for them, therefore some restaurants were closed but other ones were full! We got lucky to get some table. As it was the weekend in Seville then it did not surprise me.
Plaza de Espana
For the weekend in Seville, there were not so many people as expected (everyone was on beach). In every city or even village, there is Plaza de Espana in Spain. However, I have never seen a square that spectacular and impressive as this one! Therefore I am mentioning this as the last one as Plaza de Espana is something you must see! It was built for a special exhibition (just like the Eiffel Tower). Not only that. The second movie of Star Wars was filmed on this square (where they fight against the clones).
Plaza de Espana is one of the places which is much more impressive in life than photos. Probably because it is left like a square and not filled with markets or anything extra. Therefore it looks even bigger and spectacular. Filled with beautiful fountains, bridges and each corner is worth the photo. I have no idea how many I made but many for sure!
What I wore in Sevill e?
After all, I am a fashion blogger and style is very close to me. Therefore we should talk about some of the outfits I wore. I spent only one weekend in Seville. So I did not take the whole wardrobe with me to wear. However, there are a few outfit pieces that I chose only for Seville.
Casual and daily outfit
I knew that for the trip there and a first-day walk I need something as comfortable as possible. What better option than black denim shorts with my Adidas Superstars sneakers. However, I especially chose a red lace tank top from Vero Moda. Red is for passion and very appropriate for Spain. My boyfriend said it is perfect to visit the bull ring (so hilarious).
Going out
What is a weekend in Seville without going out? For Plaza de Espana I needed some special dress and
Breakfast outfit
I had no idea how to call this outfit as I wore it for next day breakfast, small walk, and going back to home. I still feel the need to mention it because I feel like this tie-dye top has not got his attention yet that it deserves.
For this outfit, I wore the same Adidas sneakers, black denim shorts but changed the top. The crop top is a colorful tie-dye top that says C’est la vie! And has a very nice wrapped strap detail on the waist that makes the waist look smaller.

Where to eat?
La Barandilla
Tapas restaurant La Barandilla that also had a full meal. I ordered pork and potatoes in Roquefort salsa. Such a delicious meal! Others ordered some small tapas that were unique and different than anywhere else!
Miami restaurant in Triana district
Very tasty Almejas (clams) and other typical local food. We ordered great wine and each one of us tasty local food! The interior was very typical and traditional to Spain with bullfight inventor and a lot of other Spanish decors.
Love Horno Artesano for breakfast
When we realized that on Sunday all Churrerias are closed (places to eat churros, traditional Spanish sweets). We found a very cozy and nice cafeteria for breakfast. Love Horno Artesano is located 5 min. Walk from the apartment, has a huge assortment of sweet breakfast options as well as toasts. Most importantly, very tasty coffee for coffee lovers! I need my coffee for that glam!
Some drink or cocktail?
Nice lounge bars with terrace next to the river or in the parks of Seville. Another amazing place we found out was the roof terrace on the top of the hotel (near the cathedral). However, drinks are very expensive and would most likely not go anymore. One cocktail cost us 15 EUR. It is called Terraza Dona Maria, in case you are still interested!
This is all about my weekend in Seville and the outfits I wore! I hope it helps you with your Seville visit, and you will end up with beautiful pictures! Let me know about your adventures and tag me!
