Urban Decay new palette: Reloaded

I feel like Urban Decay is one of the most famous brands for eyeshadow palettes and everyone trying to get their hands on all the palettes and collecting all of them from first until the last (especially famous Naked palettes).

If you are one of those persons, then you should start putting aside coins because Urban Decay is coming out with new palette in one week. I was super excited and thought it needs some attention on my blog. Is it worth it? What the color range will be? Is it different than other Naked palettes? Let’s start!

About Urban Decay

“Urban Decay is beauty with an edge. It is feminine, dangerous, and fun…appealing to anyone who relishes her individuality and dares to express it. Known for their daring shade names and innovative products, Urban Decay carries one of the widest selections of color at Sephora—a main reason their brand is so much fun!

Urban Decay loves animals as much as they love makeup. Cruelty-free since day one, they’ve never tested their products on animals (and never will). (~ I am loving this so much, I support cruelty-free brands and products a lot so I think this is a huge bonus for me to choose this brand over others; my pet bunny would appreciate, KB)

The most favourite Naked palettes by Urban Decay

Naked 1 palette already blew up the makeup world and community by its amazing nude shades and new way to show that nudes do not need to be boring. 12 beautiful shades from pale to black giving you a chance to create everyday look or smokey and sexy evening look.

Naked 2 palette was kind of a similar to Naked 1, so many beauty gurus in community started to compare two palettes and discussing if it is worth having both, what is the difference and some even said that they see Naked 1 palette more useful than the Naked 2 palette. Naked 2 palette seems a bit more shimmery, and have lighter pale tones to it, including some pastel pale peachy tones.

Palette No. 3 of Naked series by Urban Decay is very similar to Naked 2, but having more of a brown and burgundy purple, luxurious bronze tones. I do love the packaging of Naked 3 and the shades are very rich to create that nude, classy everyday look.

Then came the Naked Heat palette, and as the packaging and name already implies; the palette is full with hot red, brick coloured tones. Very different from the first three palettes, but at the same time it covers also few light and nude tones in order to create the whole glam look by using one palette. Site note! the good quality brush and large mirror on each palette is really a bonus as well.

Naked Cherry palette comes next which has so delicious name and appropriate shades for its name. Beautiful purple, pink, and burgundy shades. It seems like the first palette was very nude and then it added a bit of reddish, richer shades every time until ended up with Cherry explosion. Would love to try and do looks with this eyeshadow palette, can go crazy and creative with the Naked Cherry palette.

Urban Decay webpage says…

When I go to Urban Decay’s page, it says: New neutrals! So seems like the new palette will be similar to Naked 1 and 2. I kept reading, and it is the same what the page kept saying- “We changed the eyeshadow game forever with our original Naked Palette, so it’s only natural that we’d rethink neutral.”

Description

The new Urban Decay palette is called Reloaded (reloaded with new neutrals? new vibes? xo). The palette will have 12 shades. The page says that the palette will be great for everyone- any age, skin tone and gender! (equality- love that)! I guess we will see how it works for everyone in a week!

What is very interesting and exciting is that 4 outer pans are bigger for the shades which people would use more- nude, brownish shades. The palette is filled with matte, metallic and shimmer shades. What caught my eye was the salmon- orange shade in the palette which I thought is very interesting and makes it pop out.
