Midi Skirt Style Guide for Petites
T-shirt and sneakers
Firstly, the most casual and comfortable outfit is styling the midi skirt with a white tee (Amazon) and sneakers (Converse). Secondly, you can choose any colour you want. However, a white T-shirt and white sneakers are a very neat, luxurious summer look. This is my most worn outfit for spring and summer, also with a mini skirt. I Love the T-shirt outfits for travelling- chic but still comfortable!
The bodysuit and heel sandals
The second outfit is the midi skirt styled with a bodysuit (Stradivarius) and black heel sandals (Marco Tozzi). I would wear a black outfit like this for a date night out, cocktails, bar and enjoying a night at the beach. The black bodysuit adds a neat look to the outfit and is perfect for hot vacation days.
Corset top and wedges
As I have the natural-coloured midi skirt, I decided to add my linen corset top. The corset top (Dresslily) gives the whole outfit a cottage and countryside vibes. I would add wedges or comfortable sandals for the footwear. Therefore, I suggest you look at the skirt- what colour it is, the design and material and how you can wear it with other items in your wardrobe.
White blouse and pumps
If you are into more classy business outfits, this will be a perfect look for summer business responsibilities. The midi skirt styled with a white blouse (YesStyle) and pumps (Rockport) has a casual business look for my business Petite ladies. You can tie up the blouse as I did, in Spears way, or tuck it in for a more modest look.
Colourful tank top outfit
Last but not least midi skirt outfit, is a colourful outfit for summer. I wanted to create something super-fun and colourful because summer is for entertainment and play with fashion. Therefore, pay attention to the colours and tones that are easily mix-matched with the skirt you have. For the olive midi skirt, I decided that fuschia pink tank top (Zara) and bag (Guess) looks perfect. Finally, I would add any comfortable sandals or low-heel mules/slides.
