Tips on how to style road trip outfits

• Firstly, what is the weather? Hot, cold, rainy? That will help you prepare your outfits, and know what else you need to throw in (raincoat, umbrella, hoodie…).
• Secondly, avoid white or very light tones.
• Choose the right material (hair-free materials etc.).
• Better to layer up than have long-sleeved tops that you are unable to take off if it gets hot.
• Avoid tight materials like denim that are uncomfortable and squeeze your stomach.
• Last but not least, do not choose materials that wrinkle easily.

Stylish road trip outfits

Leggings and oversize shirt

The best and most common road trip look is styling cotton leggings with an oversized shirt. However, you can add simple plastic buckle belts for a more trendy look.

Hoodie and biker shorts

Biker shorts are even better than leggings. Because it does not matter if it is summer or Fall, we will get hot in cars so I usually prefer biker shorts. However, always throw on a hoodie (over the T-shirt) in case you are cold.

Joggers and t-shirt

Joggers and a t-shirt are a great road trip outfit combination. However, it is also my favourite airport outfit look. I recently got pet hair-free joggers. Therefore, these joggers are perfect for travelling- nothing sticks to these pants!

Last but not least, as joggers are so comfortable, I love to add a simple T-shirt to the look! Simple and beautiful look, that you can decide favourite colours and style. Even the t-shirt can be tied up in so different ways if you want to make it look more creative.

Chiffon shorts and tank top

In 2023 I found my love for shorts. I wanted to include shorts in the road trip lookbook. However, I did not find denim or satin shorts to be comfortable and appropriate enough. Then I realised that I had fallen in love with my new black chiffon shorts. These shorts are very light, comfortable and stretchy. I always style up chiffon shorts with a tank top (can also use a T-shirt). Last but not least, chiffon shorts do not wrinkle! Otherwise, I would suggest cotton or linen shorts, but they wrinkle easier.
