THE BOLD TYPE TV show review: fashion or propaganda? One day I wanted to watch a fun feminine TV show that includes fashion. Something that has Sex and the city-style. That is when I found the Bold Type on Netflix. I thought it is amazing- even more fashion than I was expecting. Or was it? Is The Bold type fashion TV show or hidden political propaganda?
Let’s discuss all the important topics from the TV show that it discussed. I want to talk about the feminist movement, topics, political views, and the danger of it! We are going to discuss the topics like sex, orientation, racism, guns and so many more.
I ask you to respect my opinion and take this blog post as a possibility to open your mind and think about how media and politics work. Please, be open-minded and understand that all opinions are valid while they are individual opinions and not a movement! Let’s start reviewing The bold type Tv Show and talk about the dark side of Netflix shows.
White privilege or racism?

White people of today should not feel ashamed or bad of what some people did years ago in history! We must focus on today, on facts, on criminal rate, and statistics that are now available. Sadly, look at statistics in Chicago, who makes the most crime? Why police were called on George Floyd? Because he robbed the store- think about what the owner feels now? Why media did not show the whole video clip showing how he broke out the police car. His girlfriend admitted they used drugs before the rob therefore he could not breathe.
The other black guy that got killed and people crying of him raped a girl hours before getting killed. Where Is your empathy towards the girl he hurt? Even now the most Asian crime is done by my black race (as you all love to use race in your stories). Politics and media do not show criminals attacking Asians if and when they are black to spread propaganda that the white race is the most horrible.
Are guns for safety?
A girl has her gun because she was going into shooting class or training. She had the gun safely locked away, in a safe place that no one of her friends even knew about the gun. However, when the roommate discovered it, she forced her friend to immediately get rid of it because it made her uncomfortable. The friend said guns kill people. Let me tell you, I have known many people who have guns or use guns daily in their work. Guns do not kill people- people kill people! Therefore, there are so many that kill people even by using a knife, baseball bat, pen, chair, or whatever object they have in hand.
However, what made me mad was that the friend tried to take her to the shooting range to help her get away from this fear. Can you guess what happened? That is right, she did not try to accept it and try to understand it and someone’s hobby! Sorry feminists, but you feel powerful by not wearing a bra, some women can feel powerful by shooting and having a gun and being able to protect themselves from attackers. Are you feminist and caring of other women taking away their hobbies and power?
Propaganda forced by a friend. Oh, how many friends I lost by sharing my opinion about politics! If you unfriend someone only because they do not agree with brainwashed population, you know who is in the wrong.
Models and body positivity
The fashion magazine using natural and real-size women for modeling campaigns. Yes, the positive side of the TV show. One of my most favorite parts of the series that I can agree with! Do not talk about changing the world, change the world.
Cheating and porn
Jane forgave her boyfriend for cheating on her, and supported him watching porn. Porn, where women are exploited and can turn into an addiction and ruin relationships. The topic was totally ignored and not even mentioned or even discussed a little bit- WHY! Is this how feminism tries to improve real-world problems like sex addictions, human trafficking, and pedophilia? Last year Porhub- the biggest network that a lot of people trust, was in a scandal of having human trafficking cases and pedophilia! How not if people get sicker, their fetishes are normalized and no normal porno actress will want to do these horrific degrading things.
Let me tell you- I do not think that porn is bad for its idea of seeing sex and exploring yourself especially if you are single! Especially if you are single, you should watch porn than go destroy someone’s life or risk of having disease! However, society and media should talk more about how porn affects the standards of relationships. How men see women, how fake it gets, and last but not least, how sick it gets! We should talk more about why many watch porn even if having in good relationships. How it is all addiction and only because of the fast way to grow endorphins which is why it can turn into an addiction.
In my opinion, the whole porn industry should be re-arranged, re-done, and re-watched. Any degrading porn should be canceled, any porn that includes or acts as the woman is very young and underage should stop. Any porn that includes family members having sex should be canceled. These are the things that should be canceled, however, what feminists cancel? Cartoon characters.
Vagina!
The TV show mentioned the health of the vagina and the smell of it! All the industries are trying to sell women perfumes for their vaginas to make them smell good. However, it is a vagina, not a flower. Except if it has a scent that means a health problem, in which case you need a doctor. If the vagina smells like a vagina, not like flowers- it is okay, and it must be like that!
It depends on women to ask for help, not on men to offer help?
Why for you, radical feminists, need to grow their power by taking some of it away from men? Is it equal if you do not let men speak, offer help and be nice to women? You do not like men “
In Spain, men are afraid to open doors for women. Because men are yelled at and sorry, but it is messed up!
Kids and uniforms in school
THE BOLD TYPE TV show review: fashion or propaganda also talks about kids. What do you think about kids wearing uniforms in schools? In the TV show, they explain why wearing a uniform is good and I agree. Kids that way do not waste attention and time focusing on what they will wear, or how they will look at school. Instead, they spend their energy on studies and homework. Uniforms also make kids not compare their brands or money, which is a huge problem in the modern world! The ten-year-olds I see those wear bootie shorts are horrible to look at!
Sexuality is not personality!
If you think sexuality is not personality, then do not feel proud of being a woman or having sex! Watching TikTok or even Instagram and how women exploit their body, calling it empowerment makes me sick in a stomach!
What you wear, how you act, and what you show off is the
How you present your body, and sexuality shows how much respect you have for yourself, your body. It can even indicate possible traumas and mental health problems. Therefore, I do not like society now teaching kids and young women that twerking on TikTok, where millions of males see it and can share with friends, is women empowerment!
Women empowerment is being independent, being classy, not sharing her sex life (except if for educational purpose), respecting herself and her body! Be proud of your talents and capabilities and not your sex or your body!
If you want your sexuality not to represent you, do not let people see it as a number one thing about yourself!
This part showed how republicans listen to another point of view and have a conversation. However, democrats get aggressive and will force the opinion and propaganda. In my opinion, both parties should stop participating in political games, share propaganda and understand that we all want a better life and make love like Kat did!
