However, some movies are a little spooky and have thriller vibes (like the one of the cursed dress).
I am so excited about the list because I discovered a lot of new movies and TV shows that I had no idea existed. Therefore, I know what to watch until 2022! The Devil wears Prada
The BEST fashion movies and TV shows article must start with the queen of them all. The Devil Wears Prada inspired me to write the blog post! Who does not know the traditional fashion comedy about the evil boss in a fashion company and her relationships with the new intern? Ultimately, everything ends well and positively as in any of these movies!
Bride Wars
Bride Wars is not exactly a fashion movie, but it does show some pretty bridal dresses. A beautiful film about a childhood friendship, and how it is more important than your ego!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
For me, Breakfast at Tiffany’s is not a fashion movie. It is about the jewellery brand Tiffany’s, while it almost does not even mention Tiffany’s. However, I could not ignore the elegant classics. You know that my blog is all about elegance and being classy! The BEST fashion movies and TV shows start and end with this movie.
Sex and the city
Sex and the City has two parts and soon will have a third one. The movie is about the friendship of four women, their lives in New York, and their relationships. Each of them has a different style, but my favourite is Sarah J. Parker or Carey! I love her style a lot, and as she is a Petite woman, I have started to talk about her style more on my blog!
Confessions of a shopaholic
Confessions of a Shopaholic is an old one, a cheesy one but still a good one! I am going to search for a movie to watch this year! The name speaks for itself, a shopaholic who realizes she has a problem when her credit cards have no money on them!
Zoolander 1 and 2
Zoolander is a movie that I did not know existed, and I have not seen it yet. However, the description intrigued me! Ben Stiller is the main character, and that already makes me want to watch the movie!
101 dalmatians
I do not want to think about 101 Dalmatians as a fashion movie. However, unfortunately, it is about fur and obsession with women’s fur coats. The film is one of my favourites and, for that reason, will be on my Christmas movie list!
Fashion victims
Fashion movie that I have not seen. The film seems like a lighthearted comedy about a fashion salesman. Curious to watch Fashion Victims and see what I think about it. Would you want me to watch all of these movies, and update the blog post with my opinions, comment down below.
After the ball
The movie is another Cinderella re-take but more about the business and fashion industry! One woman tries to save her family business. The fashion movie does not have the best reviews, but none of the lighthearted comedies have it!
Crimes of Fashion
Two beautiful actresses, Megan Fox and Pat Kelly united in a fashion comedy about the family business, money, and style.
Ladies in black
Ladies in black has better ratings than most of these movies, with almost seven stars. The film is a mix of comedy, romance, and drama about a group of department store workers. Ladies in Black is another lighthearted comedy for Fall nights with a glass of wine.
In Fabric (Halloween movie)
We have finally reached the Halloween fashion movie. I hope to find the movie and watch it on Halloween night. The film is a haunting ghost story about a cursed red dress that travels from one person to another. I did not know I would have a Halloween movie in the BEST Fashion Movies and TV Shows article.
Cruella
Cruella is one of the newest fashion movies. The film is about how Cruella from 101 Dalmatians became the evil fashion designer she is. I was surprised by how much I liked the movie, more than I ever expected (even my partner enjoyed the movie a lot). In conclusion, the newest film from Disney as well! The BEST fashion movies and TV shows had to include the best movie of 2021.
Drama Fashion movies
Mrs’ Arris goes to Paris
I did not include a lot of movies from the 90s or older because there are too many. However, fashion and Paris are convinced to include Mrs Arris goes to the Paris movie. Moreover, the film also has a high rating. The movie is about a 1950s maid in London. She falls in love with the Dior dress and decides to go on adventures in Paris.
Garmento
Many people think being a model and working in the fashion industry is a dream that comes true and only has a positive side. However, the fashion and beauty industry can be very dark. Garmento shows the dark side of the fashion industry. However, the unseen side of the fashion industry is shown in a satirical way.
Net a porter (ready to wear)
There was not a lot written in the description of the movie. However, I only needed to read that it was about a group of people getting ready for the Paris fashion week (my dream), and it was enough for me to include the movie in the list. Net-a-porter is drama but also a comedy!
Fashion
If you were waiting for a movie about models, then this is the movie for you. The film surprisingly even has a high rating. Fashion is about a small-town girl pursuing her dream of becoming a fashion model, which does not go as planned!
The dressmaker
The Dressmaker is a comedy and drama about a woman, who returns to her small town in Australia. With her sewing machine and haute couture, she transforms the local women while still having revenge on those who did her wrong. The movie is rated very highly.
We will take Manhattan
We will take Manhattan is drama and romance about the affair between a famous supermodel and her photograph.
Murder in fashion
The thriller about fashion, probably another Halloween movie? Fashion Victim has low ratings, but I wanted to include more thrillers. Most importantly, because it is about the murder of Gianni Versace. I do not know a lot about it, and I wanted to see more about it.
Underwear
Luxury lingerie is another type of fashion, that I am secretly obsessed with. The movie is about a handmade luxury lingerie atelier in Tokyo. The comedy/ drama has a stable seven stars rating.
Rage
Very low-rated movie. However, it is about the blogger living in a New York fashion house. The review said it is addictive, yet not a lot to enjoy! If a movie is addictive, it is very good made no matter if you like it or not.
Personal shopper
Mystery and thriller that showcases the life of a personal shopper in Paris. I can resonate with her because I feel like I am a personal shopper for all my followers. My daily life consists of searching sales, trends, and essentials, and writing about fashion inspirations. I have a feeling that I will like this movie due to it being mysterious and about fashion.
The Paradise
The Paradise is a movie highly rated. The film is about a young woman working in a department store!
Phantom Thread
The movie is about London in the 1950s, a dressmaker who soon finds her muse and lover. Does she inspires him or maybe disturbs his whole life?
The collection
Another family drama and another fashion movie about Paris. Two brothers but one fashion house and rising business.
House of Gucci
Gucci is not my favourite designer. However, I have my eye on a few of their items, like classy bags and the double G belt. I am wondering if the drama is not a bit of a biography of the Gucci family. The movie talks about drama, revenge, and even murder in the House of Gucci.

Coco before Chanel
The BEST fashion movies and TV shows have to include a biography about Chanel’s founder. Coco Before Chanel is one of the must-have biography fashion movies. However, I still somehow have not seen it (definitely on my watch list). As the name implies, the story is about Coco Chanel’s beginning and rise.
Gia
Gia is a biography drama that is higher rated than Coco before Chanel. The movie is about the top fashion model Gia Carangi, of her walk to the modeling profession and her unfortunate death.
Yves Saint Laurent
Yves Saint Laurent is one of my favorite luxury fashion designers. However, I do not know a lot about his life. The biography is about the life of French designer YSL, of his career, and also a lover and business partner Pierre Berge.
Coco Chanel
I would call this movie the second part of Coco before Chanel. The film is about her career and iconic life as the most famous and classic fashion designer.
Halston
The biography of 2021, one of the newest fashion movies as well! Very good-rated movie (very long as well) and is about the fashion empire synonymous with lust, fame, and luxury.

Sex and the city
One of the first-ever popular fashion TV shows is Sex and the city! The beautiful friendship between four businesswomen and their life in New York. I would love to binge-watch the whole TV show one day! I am downloading the first seasons as I am writing this!
Emily In Paris
Emily in Paris is the new favorite that I have already seen at least five times. I know some people judge the TV show, but what is wrong to have a lighthearted comedy, a little bit cheesy to put on the TV and watch when having some bad day? I have also lived in France, and I have my opinion about Americans. Therefore, to see both cultures together fighting amuses me (sorry, not sorry).
The Bold Type
We have reached the first real drama and something that would cancel me in the new generation of crytal! I even wrote my whole review and the hard truth of The bold type. However, even if it is propaganda and a political weapon, it is still about fashion and can have a good laugh about silly women creating problems where there are none! Imagine if the only problem we had was wearing a bra?
Gossip girl
I am not the gossip girl fan as crazy as some women are. However, I can appreciate the beautiful style and fashion that it portrays. The only thing is that the cringe, dumb, and pure toxic friendships and relationships that the characters have ruined the whole fashion vibe for me!
Bridgerton
Bridgerton is the new trend, and people say it is the new Gossip Girl! Probably it is the truth, but I do not know why, for these ladies and characters, drama and sex do not suit them! I tried watching it, but again it was just too “cringey” and filled with drama, and for me, it seemed silly. I am also not a fan of that type of fashion. However, curiosity tells me to give it one more chance!
Schitt’s creek
I heard about Schitt’s Creek, and I had no idea it is about an over-the-top lady who loves Haute fashion and builds her designer wardrobe. The name somehow implied to me it is another story of some man and his problems. Do not ask me why I thought that because I have no idea!
The duchess
The Duchess intrigued me because the description says that it is a comedy and drama, with a beautiful style, and is the UK version of Carrie Bradshaw. I told you before how much I love the Carrie Bradshaw style.
Sweet Magnolias
The movie looks like a cheesy romance type of TV show. However, it implies that it brings a good summer fashion inspiration, and I am all here for it! Pastels and summer tones are my favorite!

Girlboss
This year I watched Girlboss, and I am shocked that I did not know about the Girlboss TV show before! If you are more of a books person, you can buy the book to read as well! The TV show is about the founder of Nasty Gal and her rough path from her small apartment, being poor, starting at Etsy to the retailer empire! Why am I writing this blog post for three days for you? I want you to have a list of great movies to watch, and not miss any good movies or TV shows again!
Mr. Selfridge
The real-life story of the American founder of Selfridge’s, London’s department store. The TV show has almost an eight-star rating and has my whole interest in it.
The Secrets of Selfridges
The next one on the list after Mr. Selfridge is The Secrets of Selfridges. The show is more about the times of Harry Gordon Selfridge, who launched Oxford Street’s flagship store. If you are confused about what I am talking about, do not worry- so am I! Therefore, we must watch to learn more about the history of Selfridges!
Franca: Chaos and Creation
Franca was editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia. The TV show examines how she rebelled against the conventions of magazine covers, mixing fashion and confronting taboo topics. Watch featured interviews of her friends like Karl Lagerfeld.
Jeremy Scott: the people’s designer
Jeremy Scott is the creative director of Moschino. I am seriously learning so much by writing the blog article. The show features interviews with Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Rihanna. How Jeremy become the first-ever American to take charge of the Italian brand?
Maddman: The Steve Madden Story
Most of these TV shows that I am mentioning are available on Netflix! Steve Madden is one of those favorite designers of mine, which I have never tried but dream of trying one day when I am rich! The Steve Madden story reminds me a little bit of how the Nike founder started, by selling shoes from his car.

I watched the Bling Empire after my friend suggested it to me. The TV shows are an insight into rich Asian Americans’ lifestyles and a little bit into their culture and traditions. A little bit of drama and most likely some acting included as in all reality TV shows.
Get organized with the home edit
Home edit is one of the most popular organization companies that are famous among Hollywood stars. The Netflix lifestyle series show wardrobes of their celebrity clients like Eva Longoria, Reese Witherspoon, and Khloe Kardashian.
Next in Fashion
Next in Fashion is another competition TV show on Netflix. The fashion designer competition show kept me hooked until I was done with it. The grand prize is $ 250,000 and the collection with Net-a-Porter.
Styling Hollywood
Styling Hollywood shows the work and life of celebrity stylists. I have done a whole online course on Personal stylists and celebrity stylists, the work is tough! The profession is tougher than you think, very time-consuming, and stressful and it takes, even more, to even start earning! Therefore, if you are interested in the world of stylish, I suggest watching this show before going for it.
Queer eye
The show is about self-care and self-confidence. I have always said that fashion and WEARING clothes are about self-confidence, not walking around naked! Usually, the more wrong attention you want by walking naked, the more self-conscious you are! The show considers how style and fashion are used to reinvent one’s self.
