The best review of the Pixi beauty glow collection. There are not many people who do not know about the famous Pixi beauty skincare and their popular Glow tonic. Now Pixi beauty is back with the entire collection inspired by glow tonic. Excited?
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I am very transparent and honest of my gifts and PR and collaborations. Pixi beauty surprised me by sending me their PR package and I did not know I am on their PR list.
I am always very respectful and thankful for brands noticing and appreciating my blog, youtube and hard work, but I am also very thankful for my followers, that is why I am doing my best to be as honest as possible with you. I was testing the entire collection for around month and now ready to share it with you!
Glow tonic Cleansing gel
Glow tonic cleansing gel is this soft and gentle exfoliating gel which is great for sensitive skin and in all honestly, for all skin types. My skin is not even so sensitive but with face scrubs and many cleansers, my skin get very dry and irritated. This cleansing gel reminds me of soft, gel type of soap for face.
The scent is very soft, calm and a bit brings rose notes in it.
Pixi beauty says that with the help of glycolic acid, horse chestnut extract, aloe and ginseng, it refines and brightens skin and makes your skin energized and smooth.
How to apply? It is important with this range to apply small amount, took me a time to remember that. Massage gently for 30 seconds and as always- avoid eye area. At the end, rinse clean and pat dry.

Glow tonic
The famous glow tonic that I wanted to try out for ages. In 2017 Pixi beauty Glow tonic received a teen vogue face award. Since then people has been obsessed with the tonic sharing their excitement and experience over internet.
What I noticed right away when I first used the glow tonic is that it was not drying (as some tonics can be) and is very gentle for the skin. Also, I did not even use any makeup for that day but could see that tonic cleaned a lot of dirt off my face and pores (could see that on the cotton pad). The results are real and makes me so happy of how my skin is after using the toner.
The Pixi Glow Tonic deeply cleans pores by sweeping away excess oil and impurities. Glow tonic is meant for all skin types.
Formula of the tonic has 5% glycolic acid to wipe away impurities of pores, but meanwhile, aloe vera hydrates the skin. Surprised me that the product is infused with red ginseng (I love red ginseng, I have talked about it on my L’oreal day cream review as well as about the fact that Koreans love this ingredient and we all know how good Korean skincare is).
Pixi beauty says: “With Pixi Glow Tonic, your skin will be balanced, soothed, radiant and prepped for makeup application.”
This tonic is alcohol free and has never been tasted on animals.
How to apply? First, cleanse your face. Use a cotton pad to apply the product over the face, neck and décolletage. Apply serum or moisturizer after the tonic.

Glow tonic serum
I have used so many serums in the last year because I am so obsessed with them. Serums really help my skin feel fresh, hydrated, nourished and does not make it oily.
Glow tonic serum is one of my favourite so far because I love the jelly texture it has and I have realised that more simple it is (without colours, much scent) more I will like it and better results the serum gives to my skin. It is exactly how this serum is. The serum is little bit sticky though but not too much (might be because of aloe vera?!)
Glow serum gently exfoliates, hydrates and nourishes. The description say that the serum softens, refines and restores radiance for the skin and I can totally agree. My skin feels very nourished and full with radiance after using it for a month.
How to apply? Massage 2-3 drops onto cleansed, toned skin before moisturizer.

pHenomenal gel moisturiser
Since I used the whole collection of Pixi beauty, I noticed a big difference in my skin and texture. Condition of my skin is so much better. I believe that moisturiser played a big role in that because it is knows as stabilising skin pH level. I have always talked about how I have dry spots and oily spots all over my face, that is why it is very difficult to find good makeup products for my face. After month of using moisturiser, my skin is much more even and does not have different type of patches over the skin.
Moisturiser has little milky texture and neutral, creamy scent.
How to apply? Use small amount daily after cleansing and toning (be careful, I always use too much).

On-the-glow moisture stick
For the last two years I get very excited about travel sized or versatile beauty and skincare products that are easy to throw in my makeup bag or take with me for travel, and has many different ways to use it. That is why I was very excited about the new on-the-glow moisture stick.
Pixi beauty moisture stick can be used for face, body, lips and hair to moisturise your skin, or well, hair (have never used it on my hair), but I use the stick a lot for my lips as lip balm and for my skin, especially underneath makeup because it is so easy to use.
On-the-glow moisture stick is already my first product to throw in my handbag or travel bag. Instead of 3-4 different products, I can use only one and I am all about that. It is airplane safe, will not spill and how many times have you been somewhere out and be bothered by your dry lips, or elbows for example? Or how many give up on taking skincare with you because you have only hand luggage or you do not want to take 5 different bottles with you? At least this all happens to me. One of my all time favourite products.
Products is very easy to use and very moisturising (that is why I chose it over any lip balm I have). On-the-glow moisturiser has no specific scent, is very solid and the size is very friendly for a hand bag.
Formula contains Vitamin D2, gentle acids and vitamins in order to protect and increase moisture level for a long term. Also moisture stick has ginseng in it (no wonder I love the product so much). Ginseng is know for revitalising and balancing skin. Vitamin D2 has been known as powerful antioxidant but glycolic acid as moisturiser and balancer.
How to apply? Twist the base of packaging to propel or repel product. Swipe gently onto skin and pat excess into skin using fingertips. Important to close lid after each use.
