REVIEW: Garnier Original Remedies Avocado/ Shea butter hair products

I know, I know… If you have followed my blog and social medias for a while I have talked a lot about Garnier products and lately especially Garnier hair products from Original Remedies.

All of these products from Garnier I have bought myself, I have always been honest about them and they are all very good for the affordable price they provide. I always talk about how my hair are difficult to manage, wash and style. Garnier hair products have smoothing and nutritive ingredients inside that help me with my hair a lot, such as shea, avocado and sometimes cocoa or other oils.

In blog post of Favourite Garnier products I already told you about hair mask from Original Remedies Avocado/ Shea line, and because of this hair mask, one month ago, I bought also shampoo and conditioner.

Avocado oil and Shea butter Shampoo

I chose this shampoo because it is meant for damaged hair. My hair are much better than they were years ago when I bleached my hair blonde, but they are still pretty damaged.

I dye my hair in this beautiful redish, castor brown color every 4-6 months and even though that is not a lot, it stills leave an impact on my hair. Even more than dying, my hair get damaged by styling, especially straightening them. I try to use all the protective sprays and the best irons from Remington, but my hair still get damaged from the heat.

For the scalp, I feel that dying especially damages hair and the skin of the scalp, that is why- good, nourishing shampoo for damaged hair is just what I needed.

What I really noticed about this shampoo which surprised me a lot are the foam it produces! Usually with almost every shampoo I have ever used, it takes a lot for me to foam the shampoo up in order to wash out all the dirt. Garnier avocado oil/ shea butter shampoo foams up in my hands very easily, needs a little effort and water and you already have created a microphone head on your scalp from all the foam!

Probably the foam is why it is also easy to wash my hair better and cleaner than usually. My scalp is very dry and can be even flakey and after first time of using this shampoo I already noticed the difference- my scalp was much more nourished, smoother and hydrated. D

Avocado oil and Shea butter Conditioner

I cannot live without conditioner, I can wash my hair some times withou mask but I cannot wash it and not use conditioner.

My hair is very poodle-y, tankle-y and all kind of fizzy, fuzzy- crazy! With that being said, good conditioner is a must-have for me! Garnier Avocado and shea butter conditioner help my hair significantly. I noticed my hair getting more nourished, smoother, silkier and easier to brush when using the conditioner of Garnier Avocado and shea butter range.

Most importantly is to remember not use half bottle in one go! I always forget about that, but you really do not need a lot because avocado and shea butter is very oily itself as we all know.

Avocado oil and Shea butter hair mask

Generous rinse-out hair mask treatment deeply restores to rejuvenate hair’s suppleness, for very dry hair. Hair mask formula with south african avocado oil and west african shea butter extracts. Enriched with a natural blend, paraben-free. Gentle for everyday use.

Garnier Original Remedies hair mask with avocado oil and shea butter is the first Garnier hair mask I have used, that is why I was so excited to try it out. Also it is not one of the expensive ones so I was beyond excited to see how their masks work. Firstly, I noticed the nice, sweet scent coming from it (I love products with good but natural and fresh scent, especially hair products). The ones who follow me some time on my blog, youtube or instagram already know that my hair can be very dry, and are very curly and like a big mess. My hair are thick, long and after washing looks like I have taken hair from some poodle dog. So hair masks and oils are my go-to! This mask gives my hair incredible shine and silk texture. After using Garnier Original Remedies hair mask my hair feel moisturised and nourished. Recommend!
