Review: BIOMED organic medical skincare

Products are gifted, NOT sponsored (wish)! This is my opinion and review and no one told me to what to tell or how to present the following products!

In this world there are makeup products and skincare products that everyone know. Did you know about medical skincare? I would like to call them- the products that we do not appreciate enough and sometimes leave behind for when “if I have extra money”. And I can understand that, these products can be life changer but also waste of money if you are not satisfied with results.

That is when bloggers and their reviews come in handy, to see their opinion and review on brands and products to see if it is worth splurging money on. I was happy to get introduced my Biomed organic medical skincare brand and try some of their products for a month and share results with all of you. Before/ after photos, information about brand and their products, surprises and discount codes and all of that you can get by continuing reading. Enjoy!

About Biomed

History. Biomed is founded and launched in Germany, in 2010. In 2013, products of Biomed are distributed around Germany and the rest of the Europe. Last year, in 2018, Biomed launched more products to offer bigger variety to their customers.

Brand and products. I will always choose natural, eco and cruelty-free products over any other. Biomed is known and popular for their cruelty-free and natural, clinically tested medical skincare that competes with any chemical skincare that damages our skin.

Biomed is especially known for their products that cover all kind of treatments and solutions for different problems and skin issues, such as ageing, sensitive skin and others; as well as normal, daily skincare.

What I really love about the brand is that not only they are natural, cruelty-free, and has amazing potential but is also very appealing with the sleek but simple packaging which can compete with any luxury brand.

With my blog I want to bring more awareness to chemicals that many beauty companies use, and test out, find out and introduce you with alternative makeup and skincare brands such as Biomed and others that has the same or better results as dangerously chemical brands and products which harm our skin and health.

Ar you parabenphobic? I am too! But you do not need to worry, Biomed products has no parabens, no Phenoxyethanol, no mineral oil, no synthetic perfume (important because many use “perfume” to hide all the chemicals they use underneath this name) and no animal testing. Completely vegan!

After testing out these three products that I am going to tell you about, I have already a wishlist of products that I want to try next (If you are curious of some products, let me know and maybe I can test them for you and let you know).

Luscious lashes (lash serum)

We all know about serums, vitamins and all the different products for lash growth but not all of them work as well as not all of them are safe to apply close to eyes (this product is). I have tried hair growth vitamins which helped my lashes to grow a little bit (but the interesting part is, that they were light and not visible).

With this lash serum though, I noticed that my lashes seems thicker and blacker, which surprised me loads! I took the best before and after photos as I could. You can judge for yourself but after making and comparing photos, my lashes seems a bit blacker and longer after month of use (and I will use more time to get even better results). The serum also is supposed to stimulate the keratin genes.

I did not edit photos and not add anything to make it real and natural!

INGREDIENTS. Serums consists of two natural ingredients- XLash Peptide and LashDiol L20 and other ingredients that I will list down below.

XLash Peptide is natural ingredient that is the reason for longer and thicker eyelashes. This ingredient helps to increase hair that are in the growth phase and decrease the amount of hairs that are in the no growth phase. XLash Peptide helps to produce more keratin allowing the hair growth.

Other ingredients. Aqua, Borid Acid, Caprylyl glycol, Disodium EDTA, Glycerin, 1,2 Hexanendiol, Myristol Pentapeptide-17, Sodium borate, Sodium chloride hydroxyethylcellulose, Tropolone.

How to apply? Luscious lashes serum need to be applied only to upper lash line once a day. Biomed advices to apply it at night before going to sleep. Allow the serum to absorb. Use it every day for faster and better results and you should be able to see first results within 28 days up to 42 days.

Price: 30 Eur (with my code “BLOGKRIS” only 21 Eur)

Chin up (anti-age for chin, neck area)

Cream “Chin up” was the product that I chose to try because I have really ugly wrinkles and lines on my neck and decollete zone. I noticed them one day and since then I can not unseen them. I am sure they appeared when I worked 8 hours in the office on laptop, and now the blogger work does not help either. The saddest part is that this is meant to be anti-ageing cream and I am only in my late 20s! That is why I ordered this cream thinking: if this will help my wrinkles, I am hooked to this brand! So let’s see?

Again, no editing! Raw photos. both has the same filter!

I was amazed to see that my wrinkles are smaller and lighter and not so notable anymore. Makes me so happy and I want to keep using the cream to see if the wrinkles get smaller and smaller.

INGREDIENTS. Chin up cream has some very good and impressive natural ingredients that I love to have in my skincare (and also hair care). One of them is very important for the results- Argatensyl or protein from Argan fruit, argan oil, shea butter and aloe vera.

Argatensyl is active ingredient that has the fault of firming the skin while increasing elasticity of the skin. It has a huge role of reducing lines and wrinkles as for a long-term. Argatensyl is also very anti-oxidative.

I love Shea butter and aloe vera creams for nourishing and moisturising my skin and this cream is not exception. Can notice the Shea butter because the cream texture is very soft and creamy, leaving skin very nourished.

Other ingredients. Aloe vera leaf juice, Aqua, Argania Spinosa, Argania Spinosa Kernel extract, Benzyl alcohol, Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Cetearyl glucoside, Cetearyl alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Dicaprylyl ether, Fragrance, Glycerin, Glyceryl stearate, Simmondsia chinesis (Jojoba oil), Sodium cocoyl glutamate, Sodium stearoyl glutamate, Theobroma cocoa, Tocopherol, Vitis Vinifera (grape seed) oil, Xanthan gum.

How to apply? Apply the cream every day, twice a day on clean skin around your neck and decolleté and massage gently into the skin.

Price. 20 Eur (with my code “BLOGKRIS” only 14 Eur)

Ingrow gone (Ingrown hair removal)

Ingrow gone is ingrown hair removal. This is one of the products which I did not know I need until I used it and now I cannot live without it! I really needed some product to finish my hair removal procedures with and Ingrow gone is perfect. Especially I love to use it on my legs and have noticed that the skin on my legs is much smoother and cleaner. It is even difficult to explain because on bikini zone and armpits, for me, it is always problematic with ingrown hair and the issue is notable, but with legs I always thought that there is no problem. Until I used this ingrown hair removal and can notice the difference. Smoother, cleaner and softer legs after each shaving.

The product is alcohol based, is very strong, smells like spirt, therefor can hurt a bit if you have some damaged or injuries on your skin. I like it though, because it works great as disinfection. It is important to note that even though it seems very strong and alcohol based, the product does not make skin feel dry, even opposite, skin feels very nourished due to ingredients as aloe vera, Shea butter and all the oils.

The product not only remove already ingrown hair but by using it you can prevent recurring ingrown hair and reduce all the bumps and burns that razor can cause.

INGREDIENTS. Alcohol denat, Aqua, Citric cid, Glycerin, Glycolic acid, Lactic acid, Malic acid, Salicyclic acid, Sodium lactate, Sodium PCA, Sodium glycolate, Sodium citrate, Sodium malate.

How to apply? If you want to remove ingrown hairs that you already have, simply apply the lotion to cotton pad and rub it onto affected areas. If you want to prevent ingrown hairs, apply the lotion to skin before removing hair and reapply twice a week to the affected areas. I used the lotion after hair removal on legs; but to more problematic zones like armpits and bikini zone I used it before hair removal.

Price. 20 Eur (with my code “BLOGKRIS” only 14 Eur)
