I love to incorporate some trends in my style if I know they flatter me. Then, I fall in love with some trends, make them my style, and wear them for years!
However, being Petite, some trends can be very tricky. When you have a different body size from the “average”, you cannot just wear any trend you want and call it a day! Therefore, I decided to make it easier for you (and me) and collect a few Fall trends that, in my opinion, will be flattering!

Corsets for Petite women
There is nothing more feminine than a corset and corset tops! I suggest you read the interview with the American corset designer I did a few years ago. Many people think corsets create pain and can be bad for us. However, it comes from the past and history when it was used wrong to force women and their organs into tiny corsets that changed their whole body corset. If used correctly, corsets only accentuate your beauty and can help with posture and even back problems.
However, real corsets are very expensive, and I also do not have where to wear them. Therefore, I prefer corset tops, like this beautiful linen and cotton top that I got a few weeks ago.
White shirts and blue jeans
What is more luxurious streetwear and casual style than a white shirt and blue jeans? Therefore, I post a lot of different jeans and white blouses or t-shirts on my LTK shopping page. I am so happy that the jeans and white shirts combination will be trending in fall because that is something I wear anyways.
Transparent layers
Transparent layers like mesh will be in style. Imagine a Petite woman wearing a monochromatic outfit (which is one of the best tips for Petites) and having a nude mesh top. However, black will work as well. A few years ago, I got the flower embroidered dress from Amazon. However, another fashion favorite of mine is the bralette with a mesh back!
Long leather outerwear (jackets)
Leather is a must-have material for fall and winter. Long jackets can look bad on Petites. However, it all depends on how you style it. Style the leather jacket with blue ankle jeans, pointed-toe booties and some crop tops.
Oversized button-ups
I am wearing oversized button-ups for the last year or two, do I dictate fashion? Anyways, button-ups are great for daily fashion and can be worn and styled up in million different ways!
Mini skirt
Autumn fashion for Petites must include mini skirts. Mini skirts are the best, but I say mini-skirts, not macro skirts. Let’s leave macro skirts for… no one, let’s just burn them. There is nothing trashier than macro skirts. Mini skirts, however, are feminine, flattering, and elegant. Especially for Petite women, mini skirts visually lengthen legs.
Caramel tones
Midi skirts must be included in autumn fashion for Petites and any other season too. I mentioned monochromatic outfits and how they are flattering for any Petite woman. Therefore, caramel tones have been my favorites for the last year and will be this year (just more trendy).
Create monochrome tones.
PINK Fuschia pink
One of my favourite Petite-friendly Fall fashion trends. I would have never imagined pink being a Fall tone. However, trends say it is and will be. Therefore, I am pulling out my Guess bag, and got a cute button-up Fuschia pink dress out, and I am ready to conquer fashion this year!
Knitwear everywhere
Knitwear is amazing, and if you have a grandmother or you know how to knit, use it and knit something cute for yourself and your friends.
However, if not, I can suggest you some great knitted sweater dress options. Nothing screams more fall fashion like sweater dresses.
Power suits
Power suits for Petites because Petites can and Petites will! Again, all one-styled and colour tones look flattering on a petite body. Imagine a caramel-toned power suit on a Petite woman and some elegant pumps.
