Looking for your perfect natural and affordable summer makeup routine? Summer is here and we are ready to go out, enjoy the beach and local restaurants. Some people have weddings to attend or other summer events. I live in Spain, where the weather can be very hot when I do not want to think about a lot of layers of makeup. In summer, I like my makeup natural and glowy, bringing out my inner beauty. However, it still needs to cover imperfections and hide the blemishes!
Over the last year, I have discovered great and affordable makeup products from well-known as well as less known brands. In this blog post about the natural and flawless makeup routine, I am going to include my favorite products of my summer makeup routine, where to buy them, as well as links to more in-depth reviews (which I have made in the past).
Tilk Bio tinted moisturizer for a natural summer tint
Tone: Light
Tinted moisturizers are very useful and good for any period but especially for summer. Foundations in hot weather can turn into a nightmare and also feel very bad! However, a tinted moisturizer will keep your skin soft and moisturized, giving you a natural and glowy tanned look to your skin!

NYX Can’t Stop Won’t stop concealer
When it comes to affordable cruelty-free makeup brands, NYX is one of the best ones that I would suggest to everyone. Over the years they have improved their quality. Can’t Stop Won’t stop line got very popular because of the huge range of foundations and concealers. A few months ago I finally got my hands on Can’t Stop Won’t stop concealer and for the price it has, it is one of the best concealers I have tried. The concealer has very good coverage, but feels light and natural!
Kiko Milano Radiant powder
I have talked with many beauty lovers around the world, and many do not even know about the Kiko Milano brand. Kiko Milano is an Italian brand and has very affordable makeup, which at the same time is very good quality for the price. They even have managed to make the packaging look pretty decent and good looking!
Kiko Milano powder comes with the mirror. What I love about the Radiant powder from Kiko Milano, it is very light, it is not too matte nor too shiny! I feel like it is just a point on how good natural powder needs to be!
Sleek Solstice palette for your natural summer glow
Sleek makeup is my best discovery from last year! Very affordable makeup, cruelty-free, sleek packaging that comes with mirrors, and the quality is something I would not expect for this price! Sleek is well-known for its amazing face products and palettes.
The first one I got (after reading many positive reviews) was the Solstice highlighter palette, and reviews did not lie. The Solstice palette is my favorite highlighter of all time! Tones are very beautiful, and the highlight is so glowy and very sparkly! Applies very easily like butter! In the palette, you get two cream highlighters and two powder highlighters. I would recommend this palette to everyone!

Butter bronzer from Physicians Formula
Tone: Light bronzer
You have heard about the famous butter bronzer from Physicians Formula! I remember many famous bloggers and YouTubers talk about it all the time. Butter bronzer has also received a lot of awards! So what is a butter bronzer? Firstly, it comes with a mirror and a small brush inside. It is cruelty-free which makes me very happy. I used to not like bronzers as much because I feel that sometimes they can make my face look dirty or way too tanned (I am very pale). Butter bronzer changed my mind. I would advise it to beginners because it is very easy to blend it in, it applies like butter, very easy to build it up and looks very natural as well! Recommended! Oh and to sum it up, the scent reminds me of a beach and coconuts!
Butter blush Physicians Formula
Tone: Rosy pink
When I went to buy the butter bronzer, I was not planning on buying the butter blush, but when I noticed how lovely it looks, I was hooked. The only tone in the store seemed a little too purple but in the end, I decided to give it a try. Why do I include it in a natural summer makeup routine? Because of a few reasons- it is affordable, gives a flawless look and in the end, the tone is perfect for summer. The purple pinkish tone leaves a natural blush look on the cheeks and it became my favorite blush very fast!
Mascara NYX Worth the hype
As lately I am trying to buy mostly only cruelty-free makeup products, I decided to try NYX mascara for the first time. I used to buy a lot of L’oreal and Maybelline mascaras because they are very good quality but I do not like that such a big company cannot change to cruelty-free. Therefore I shop more in NYX and Worth the hype is worth the hype for real! The mascara is very black, gives my lashes extra volume but does not look too much as some mascaras can look like! Worth the hype mascara is also very durable which is important for summer and hot weather.
Eyebrows?!
There are three ways on how I love to do my brows. Firstly, I either love to use matte eyeshadow from any eyeshadow palette for the natural brows look. Secondly, I like how my brows look when they are dyed, I usually dye them at home. I will insert my Youtube video with the tutorial on how to dye them at home. Thirdly, usually, I use eyebrow pencils but for the summer it can seem too harsh and tough!
The final reveal of flawless makeup look
For a good natural summer makeup look I pay attention to three important steps: have a natural glow, healthy blush, and juicy lips. This season natural, well-contoured, pinkish natural lips are in style! As I had a very natural look, this time I chose a little coral red tinted lipstick from Kiko Milano. Another thing I do is, I bring my highlight up to the brow bone to make my eyes pop and look more awake! Lastly, I also apply it above my lip and on my nose.
Underneath the makeup, do not forget to use sunscreen which is good for moisturizing and has an SPF50. I did not pay attention before but since living in Spain, I think more about my skin and especially the face. I have a few sunscreens that work great as primers as well. If you have a sunscreen that has silicone texture, it will work perfectly as a primer because it is going to even out your skin and make it smooth and ready to apply your makeup.
Makeup product suggestions
Talking about makeup products, if you already have good products and do not want to buy the ones I showed. You can always use other products, as long as the bronzer looks natural on your skin, blends very well on your skin. I have a big forehead, so I always apply extra bronzer on my forehead, as well as contour my pear looking nose! For the blush, I would suggest you choose a more natural rose-tone and make those cheeks look healthy!
