How to use winter wardrobe in spring?

How to use winter wardrobe in spring? The spring is finally here, and in some countries, it looks more like summer already. I was very skeptical to write my fashion posts because of the current situation, but as in some countries people still leave their houses, and in other countries situation gets better and they can go out again, I decided to write some good inspiration for your outfits.

I know some people have done a lot of online shopping but it is not me. Mostly because I do not like to shop for clothing online, I am scared to waste money on something that is not going to look good on me or will not fit me! Therefore I am stuck with my winter wardrobe and that is where the idea came alive- how to incorporate or use your winter wardrobe in spring? I looked at my winter and summer closets and created some looks, mixed looks from winter and summer wardrobe, to create the ideal spring baby!

Disclaimer! I still love to do online shopping a lot and scroll through them almost every day! If you want to look for some cute pieces that I mention today, I will write down some links for fashion items!

Winter sweater + Pleated skirt

Rich results on GOOGLE's SERP when searching for "spring outfit inspirations"

In more chill and cold days you can incorporate your winter sweater in your outfits and look very chic! Therefore, my cozy nude winter sweater is embedded with pearls, and I paired it with my grey pleated skirt from Mohito fashion. Paring sweaters or hoodies with a summery skirt is a beautiful way how to bring your winter wardrobe into spring!

In addition, if you want to snatch in your waist more, take some tiny belt that suits the vibe (in this color scheme I chose beige belt). Last but not least, my stylish high-heels from Peter Kaiser and to finish the look- my white clutch. This outfit already has enough accessories and details, therefore I chose to not wear any jewelry!

Black mini-skirt + T-shirt + Converse sneakers

For me, a black skirt is a winter wardrobe essential, except if the material is denim or something light-weighted. I challenged myself to choose my black Vero Moda skirt (that are made out of soft suede material) and gave it another perspective. The classy skirt looks very great in casual streetwear outfits, therefore I took a basic, white T-shirt (that says #womanpower) on it and for footwear chose converse sneakers. Unfortunately, mine are dirty a little.

For instance, this could be my new favorite spring outfit! For accent, I finished the look with a red Guess bag and my cat-eye flower sunglasses. I think the outfit turned out girly, stylish, and with some unique touch! What do you think about it?

Denim jeans

Rich results on GOOGLE's SERP when searching for "wear winter clothing in spring"

Even though denim pants are not only meant for winter and are widely used in spring and even summer, they are still pants. Especially in countries with higher temperatures, denim jeans are going to be more used in winter and not spring. I still see them as pants that keep our legs warm and are more used during wintertime. This way jeans can be styled up in a cute and trendy way to style them up giving everyone some spring vibes.

Jeans showed in the photo are my favorite denim jeans from Vero Moda. These jeans are super skinny, in beautiful denim blue shade and are high-waisted. They are high-waisted so I decided to pair them with my favorite spring/summer crop top which is also trendy this year. Looking at clothes, I noticed that this spring/summer all the ruffles and laces are in trend! The top is so beautiful and snatches in your waist underneath the chest area with a rubber band and the design is very feminine and romantic! To style the look a little bit up and make it more catchy, I added the chunky white sneakers that were so popular last year (I am short therefore I love this trend and will still wear it loads). I added a cute jewelry piece that I own for years!

White top. Bought from New Yorker, buy yours HERE.

Basic black dress

Rich results on GOOGLE's SERP when searching for "winter to spring wardrobe transformation"

Basic black dress for me is a statement piece that I always have in my wardrobe, in my travel luggage, and that I wear all year long! Today I am going to show you how I love to style it for the spring!

I have my favorite basic black dress from Zara and to bring it from winter to spring, I took the short denim jacket that I have. It is a beautiful way to give the dress more sunny and warmer vibes! I even added similar blue-toned earnings that I bought in a small boutique in Merida, Spain.

I finished the look by adding my all-time favorite studded buckle ankle boots. By the way, originally buckle ankle boots reached their trend top when Givenchy came out with their beautiful autumn studded boots. Therefore, I bought these ankle boots years ago from New Yorker fashion and they are still one of my all-time favorites. This look is meant more for rainy and colder days but if it is warmer where you are, you can change boots with some cute sneakers.

Black bag + scarf

Summer is coming, as a result, we try to incorporate more colors especially when we talk about accessories. Therefore, during warmer days I forget about my black bags because they can seem too heavy and dark to wear during springtime but it does not have to be!

To dress up your black bag, or make the classy look more colorful, you can use silk scarves tied around the handle. This accent will add a great touch to the outfit and bag! This trick is used by many fashionistas and bloggers! Consequently, if you start feeling a little cold or windy, you can take your silk scarf and wear around the neck. It is also very practical.

Black handbag: Mine is from Zhebra, get your bag HERE.

Silk scarf: Mine is gifted, get your silk scarf HERE.

Hopefully, you got inspiration from my spring outfit ideas from the winter wardrobe. In conclusion, the most difficult part for me was to incorporate different types of outfits, for different weather because the spring is so different around the globe. In Spain, it almost reminds of summer already while in many other countries it is rainy and cold!
