How to style a tulle skirt and look chic? Since I got my first ever white tulle skirt, I got obsessed with learning ways to style the skirt up. However, I will be honest it takes courage to wear such a bright fashion piece. Therefore, most of the outfits that I create with my tulle skirt are casual and for daily looks.
I encourage you to dress whatever you want and as bright as you want because life is short! Fashion can make every day feel like a party. What is a tulle skirt?
A tulle skirt is made out of still fabric that has a net-type of texture and design. The tulle fabric is famous for making wedding veils and gowns. Tulle is mostly made out of nylon or polyester but can be made out of silk as well.
Is tulle in fashion in 2022?
For me, tulle skirt and tulle, is always in fashion, including in 2022. I think the tulle skirt is in fashion because Carrie Bradshaw is in style in 2022. However, elegance and class return as well, which I am excited about. Therefore, this spring, the Chanel-inspired tweed skirt and jackets are very popular. Remember that style and elegance is always in fashion!
Where to wear a tulle skirt?
Tulle skirts are great for weddings, for a bridesmaid or bride. It also goes great for a birthday outfit and kids’ birthdays or baby showers. Tulle skirts also are suitable for cultural visits, like opera, theater, and museums.
You can also wear a tulle skirt as underdressing. Therefore, today I want to show more casual ways to wear a tulle skirt.
Where do I get my tulle skirt from?
My biggest goal is always to be honest with you. I got my tulle skirt a year ago in a PR package. When I decided which skirt to choose, I looked at reviews, and this skirt had the best reviews from people. I was still very skeptical because I was not sure about the quality and how it will look on me. However, the brand and skirt surprised me. The skirt was turned outside in (when the brand does it, it usually means the skirt is good quality). The tulle skirt has five layers, which give a nice puff and is not transparent at all! If you are not into a white skirt or not into short tulle skirts, they also have other colors, designs, and lengths.
I have also never needed to iron the tulle skirt.
How to iron and wash tulle skirt?
A tulle skirt is a very delicate material. You need to use the steamer to not touch the fabric, but not too much. Tulle is a very melt-like material. If you use normal iron, I suggest using some cotton fabric in between and iron at a very low temperature.
On the washing machine select the delicate cycle, the spin is on low, and the water is cold. Do not put the skirt in a dryer.

Fairy look of Tulle skirt
For summer, I wanted to create an outfit that is a little girly and lighter for summer. Therefore, I took the white tulle skirt, lilac puff sleeve crop top, and white sneakers that are super comfy. I needed to add the flower crown to be a real fairy. I would wear the look for a children’s party or bachelorette party.

A tulle skirt are worn in winter as well. For wintertime, I wear my tulle skirt with sweaters and ankle boots. However, because of the light colors, for me, the outfit is more meant for spring. Change up the boots with flats and wear them in warm springtime!
