How to be cosy and chic for winter?
Timeless and warm coat
Firstly, invest in a few timeless winter jackets and coats. My top three outerwear are a warm aviator jacket, an elegant wool coat and a puffer jacket. Each of these pieces is meant for different occasions. The puffer jacket is for daily errands and casual snow days, and the wool coat is for elegant nights out but the aviator jacket is something I wear the most- it is comfortable, elegant but also stylish.
Use layers to stay warm
Layers are the best winter fashion tip. Firstly, how many times do you enter a very hot room and are about to pass out but you have only one thick layer so you have nothing to take off? Secondly, it is a great way to look stylish and stay warm while not having a thick penguin coat. I usually layer a blouse with a sweater. However, if it is very cold, wear a thermal top underneath!
Turtleneck and high neck sweaters
One of the most important parts of winter is to keep your neck warm to not get sick. Therefore, I have discovered high-neck and turtleneck tops. The high-neck tops are elegant, classy, feminine and keep me very warm.
A few warm cosy sweaters
I used to hate winters because the sweaters made me look chunky. However, you only need to have a few flattering, cosy and timeless winter sweaters and also learn how to wear them. Therefore, get some simple basic sweaters like striped sweaters, and white and black jerseys for minimalist outfits and it will be a great base for your winter wardrobe.
Invest in a few nice warm boots
How to be cosy and chic for winter? Invest in a few high-quality boots. The biggest struggle I have ever had is to find good warm boots. All you need are 1-2 great winter boots. Firstly, I suggest having some lace combat boots with lining. Secondly, more casual snow boots.
