How did I start​ blogging?

How did I start blogging? I write a blog for over a year now- same goes for Youtube channel, but I never told or explained to you why I write my blog. How did I start and why I started it! People are used to making money every single day- make money for the present. They are too afraid to invest money and time into their dreams and future goals. They are afraid to invest and see the results only in months or years! Do not be that person!

I hope that this will not only turn into an article that you read and forget about, or read-only out of curiosity. From my whole heart, I hope this article can inspire you to follow your dreams, do what you love, and do not listen to what others trying to tell you. This is your life and your goals- follow them! But before that, let’s start with my story of how did I start blogging!

Blogspot vs WordPress

How did I start blogging? I do not remember how the first part of my blogging journey started. I only know that I started blogging on Blogspot at first, instead of WordPress and it was years ago. It was the same story- fashion and beauty. Only thing is that I remember my photos were the worst of the worst. I took my photos using my old phone, I had very bad lighting at my house and as a cherry on top of it- editing? What is that?

Then a few years ago, I started reading more about blogs and writing a blog, and found out that many people use WordPress and it gives more opportunities. I decided to lose all my traffic and move my blog to WordPress. I do not remember how I did it, but I know I followed some instructions which showed me how to copy it all to WordPress easily!

My childhood

I remember that as a child I always loved reading and writing a lot. I was the fastest reader in my class already when I was 11-12 years old. I had also very beautiful hand-writing and I would spend hours at home searching for reasons to write.

I know that I always had some type of diaries I wrote (I hope no one finds them, they are so embarrassing). I even started writing books, did my own magazines. I remember that I had a dream to be working in a publishing company and write a fashion magazine. I would say that I have always been a dreamer and maybe even a creative soul that I need to work hard on (because I am lazy and do not have a talent, haha).

New camera

I would say that definitely a new phone and also a new camera helped a lot. I always saw how bad the photos turned out and it did not make me happy and I was not motivated because I knew that it looks very bad. With the new camera, I knew I want to make the money worth it, therefore I started my Youtube channel and writing blog, and make myself into the routine and stick to it!

Quality over quantity is my motto. Therefore I was always mad about the bad quality I had (the same goes about Youtube videos that I also made before I seriously started my youtube channel). I still do not have a perfect quality but it is much better than it used to be!

In my life, I have understood that investing money in the new gear you need for your work or hobbies really can motivate you to work even harder. It is like that mindset that you need to get back the money spent! For sports, if I buy new clothing, I want to exercise a lot more and show off the new clothes I bought. If we talk about blogging, my camera, new phone, tripod and also new laptop I got made me very motivated and inspired to work hard. I was telling myself: You have the best camera, a Mac laptop, and the newest phone. The only excuse now is yourself and your laziness!

I had no more excuses, so I started working harder and learn a lot!

Inspiration

Find motivation in yourself but inspiration in the environment! When I knew that I am going to move to Spain- I bought my camera and started all this journey! At that exact time, I got so inspired as I have never been! I uploaded almost daily on my Instagram, with better photos, and better me!

To be creative and stick to your dreams and goals- it is very important what is your environment around you. I am not talking only about the environment as the city or country you are in, house or apartment. I am talking about the people and community that is around you. If you are the person with goals, sticking to your plans and dreams and working hard. I do not think that a group of friends who only ask you to go party and spend your precious time drinking is the best group of people for you.

Find new people, creative people- inspiring people!

Dream big or go home

Think hard, dream more, and set your goals. Do not be afraid of heights. Many people laugh about dreamers but if they are active dreamers who work hard instead of talking- then there is nothing wrong with it. Do not be afraid and set a nice environment around yourself!

What my dreams are? That is my secret but the future will tell! I have always been a dreamer and yes, I used to be a dreamer who sleeps all day and dreams how one day I will reach them, be married and look like a bomb fashion model. Surprise! That did not fulfill and I cannot completely understand why and how is that possible!

Now, on the other hand, I do work much harder for my dreams, I have very busy days even if most of the people think I just sleep all day and watch TV! Actually, I am never up later than 8 am, I work hard, write my blog, do photos and edit my videos! And anytime when I get bored or used to my routine, I add more to my projects!

Learning

You can dream as much as you want, spend all your money on the best equipment but without yourself, your time and investment there will never be results.

Blogging is a neverending journey and learning. I started by learning more about blogging and writing itself. Then I was reading the manual of my camera. I did not want to have a camera without knowing its full potential! I still do not know everything though!

Later on and still learning about marketing and social media. It is a very difficult journey but a fun one. If you like it, it will not feel like a job! I have done so many online courses and still feel like I do not know anything! It is just the feeling you will have if you want to be the best! Feeling that you can do better! You will need to live with it and, well, do better!

Be prepared to spend a lot of time because no one will help you. Therefore the curious people who slide in my DMs asking for some magic trick about: how I got my followers, how I get free products etc. I have one answer for you: work!

Present

Right now I am uploading 2 videos a week and 2 blog posts a week but not always it works out that great as planned! I am trying to get into aroutine and I can easily get kicked out of the routine- it is what I have learned.

I also go to every event or presentation that I can and get invited to- experience and networking is the key! I started new projects and decided to write for another blog as well! That will come up next week. Do not be afraid of works and experience that do not give you money or success right away. One day it will all make sense and the experience is going to build your brand in the future!

This is the story of how I started blogging. It was more inspirational and informative than planned. I want my community and my brand to be all about inspiration and.
