Glam & Coffee|April the 12th

Happy Easter!

Firstly, I want to wish you all a Happy (or Hoppy) Easter! Have a wonderful April. No matter the weird and little sad circumstances we are at, we can still dye eggs, decorate our house and spend a great time (do not forget to face time with your family and friends).

LIFE UPDATE.

Then I am very curious about how is your healthy lifestyle going on? Is it really as some people are telling me that they cannot stop eating and binge watch Netflix and just getting into egg shape themselves? How is it going with your routine? I can happily say that I feel like I eat the same way, sometimes I let myself eat some sweet (like I always did) but not eating more or binge eating. Even a movie night when we have some snacks we only have one time a week. I exercise online (though some days I am lazier than I was at the beginning). Are you on your healthy track? Comment down below! If not I could give you some tips on how I stay on my track (probably money issues help as well, haha).

A reminder for you all- it is okay to some days only way Netflix and eats chips! We need to spoil ourselves and mental health is important as well. Just be sure it does not last from day to day and does not become a routine- because that will not help to any kind of health. Some days I am like- nope, not today and other days I do a 2 hours workout! It is all about the balance, baby!

EASTER.

How do YOU celebrate Easter?

In a very religious way, or more pagan way? I am more of a pagan lifestyle, as I come from the pagan country- Latvia, and proud of it! We usually dye eggs and just have a really cute traditions outside in the nature and with our family. Since I live in Spain, where Easter is very religious event and I and my boyfriend are not religious, we do not celebrate Easter so much, but we have an Easter bunny and I always buy chocolate eggs (I promised myself that next year there will be some spring flowers as well). Happy Easter to you neverthless- if you celebrate it in religious way or pagan way! Also Mocha want to remind you that bunnies are not Easter toys for kids, they are animals that need a lot of attention and work! (important reminder as so many bunnies are abandoned after Easter).

FASHION.ISTA

This week I nailed this name and I am proud to say and let myself be called that way (as Fashionista). I feel like this week I got into the game of dressing up and not spend the whole day in PJs. Some days I put on my best skinny jeans I have from Vero Moda, and my favorite pink cropped hoodie from Noisy May.

Other days I wore my leggings from Strawberry Capri which is for the cozy outfit but they still look great on me, and I styled them either with some cute T-shirt or sweater.

Another thing I noticed when I spend more time on my looks (style, nails, hair), I feel so much confidence, I am more productive and I just want to go and do things. I suggest you to try it out if you feel bad or anxious one day, to take care of yourself- pamper your skin, or do your looks! I kid you not, I even noticed that I want to write more blogs and schedule my days and posts just because that way I can see better my freshly done nails. Talking about nails…

HAIR, NAILS and BEAUTY

I have noticed the difference that no-makeup weeks have done to my skin. I used to break out so much and in general, my skin had a very bad situation for the last year. Since I rarely use makeup now, my skin breaths and heals and looks so much better than it used to a month ago! I feel like this is a time that we can let our skin breathe, as well as our hair. Not damage the skin with all the makeup products and not burn the hair as much as we used to! Let your body recover!

As it goes for HAIR, I tend to wash it a lot more for many reasons. Firstly, because of the workout and Zumba I do online, and it makes me sweat a lot! Almost every day I work out and that makes my hair look very rough- so I wash them much more than used to. And last but not least, I do not have to go anywhere, so it is okay if I do not make my hair or straighten my hair, and that way I have more motivation to wash it knowing that I do not need to straighten it again! I also discovered French braids that I have been loving, but still learning how to make them pretty and cute!

I finally did my GEL NAILS at home. If you watch my vlogs on Youtube, I have been wanting to do my nails forever and ever, but I was too lazy. Alisha Marie vlog of having a nail salon at home really inspired me, and I even made nails the same color that she has them (just added some butterflies for spring, as I do not like plain nails).

By the way, one year ago I made a video of How to do gel nails at home. Please remember that one year ago I was a beginner in Youtube world (still I am but less horrible beginner) and I am not professional nail tech! This is how I do my nails!

Who else watches Alisha Marie? Because I am literally obsessed with her!
