I decided to test it out for a few months and then do a full review and analysis as I have done with all my fitness and running watches before! My opinion about the product
Design
First about the designs. The design is the first thing I noticed when I got the Garmin Forerunner 45S watch as a gift on Christmas! I thought how sleek and feminine it looks and going to look great with any outfit. The watch feels very light-weighted, which I love. I especially like the band because it is soft and I cannot even feel it!
I have done the review about Forerunner 10 (the older watch I had). One of the things I was not as excited about Forerunner 10 was a little bit of chunky design, and the band was much harder and thicker. The band was also one that broke very early on and the reason why I got another fitness watch.
How does it work?
I am not the smartest with technologies, but this watch is effortless to navigate! It takes maybe a few times to use, and then you will be able to navigate it without looking! I like that the watch catches GPS signal pretty fast (most of the cases). The watch tracks mostly running and cycling, but I also like to track it for my dancing and exercise sessions. However, if you are a swimmer, this model is not for you as it does not track swimming. The watch is waterproof but does not track any water sports!
I already mentioned Forerunner 10. Forerunner 45S works much better, mainly because you can change activities you do right on the watch. Not like Forerunner 10 that I could change the kind of sports only in the tracking app! However, I think it is because Forerunner 45S works with Bluetooth, but Forerunner 10 does not. Another big bonus for the latest model!
Is it worth it?
Lastly, is the price worth it? Knowing all the high costs of running watches and how useful is Garmin Forerunner 45S. I would say that the watch is worth the price. Not only the watch looks great in your daily or classy work environment, but it also works as your best friend, making sure you sleep enough, walk enough and breathe deeply (even tracks your stress level). It is a fair price for a suitable gadget that keeps you on track during the lockdown (and after it).
