The Ultimate Guide to Pastel Colours in Fashion. We will talk about different clothing items and discuss everything we can about it. This time, I decided to write about pastel colours in fashion because I am launching my spring fashion launch on the 8th of March (especially for women), and guess what? The whole launch is going to be in beautiful pastel tones!
Therefore, to shop for my new launch, follow here on my store and shop there! However, I wanted to know more about pastel tones and give you some more information about wearing pastel colours and more! Let’s start.
What is a pastel colour?
A pastel colour is any hue with a high value (lightness) and low to medium saturation (the colour’s purity or intensity). That is, in fact, a pretty wide breadth, meaning more colours are technically pastels than you might have thought.
What pastel colours go great together?
In my opinion, all pastel colours go great together and can be mixed all together in one outfit! However, the best pairs you can find if you look at the colour chart (the ones that are opposites from each other). With that said, blue with coral pastel, yellow with lilac, and baby pink with green.
What pastel colours go with black?
Black is the essential, classy colour that looks great with pastels. Therefore, I think you can pair all pastels well with black. However, I prefer pink or light blue and green!
What pastel colour suits me?
Do you want to find out which pastel colour you suit? It turns out that it all depends on your skin tone.
Firstly, people with fair skin (hm, me) look great in baby blue, candy pink, and lilac. A fashion tip would be to wear a little darker makeup to balance out light shades.
Secondly, for medium skin tones, mint green, baby pink, pastel grey, and peach look amazing. Balance out these tones by wearing white or black.
Finally, dark skin beauties will look fantastic in butter yellow, lavender, and creams or aqua colours.
What do you wear with pastels?
Can pair pastel colours with black or white. If you are not a lot into black and white tones, then soft grey and nude will work out great as well! However, in spring and summer, pastels in black and white are going to look gorgeous!
My pastel launch
After I have introduced you to pastel tones, I will tell you more about my launch!
Designs in my launch!
First, let’s talk about the design that I wanted to leave for summer but included it now because it was my mood! The design with pastel-coloured palm trees that say “mood” on a black background. I am lately dreaming about the beach, vacations, palm trees, and all the positive thoughts. Therefore, I wanted to spread this energy to the rest of the people and sell the design for you!
Secondly, candy pink pastel clouds! From A to Z about pastels in fashion, I needed to include the pink pastel. The pink design screams at me and my personality. It is a romantic design with a little bit of mind and head in the clouds, dreaming and flying!
Thirdly, the fun and colourful artistic pattern with all the possible shades. Spring reminds me of flowers and colours! Let’s add some colours to our lives, and I fell in love with the colour combination, so why not?
Forth design is very soft and settles pastels! It seems even like made of matte glass. I liked how the colours in this pattern are very soft, barely seen! The design is like keeping a secret- they are there but like in a fog.
Marshmallow twists for Pastel Colours in Fashion! Tasty, sweet, and dreamy design. Who does not love marshmallows melting in their mouth? Now you can implement marshmallows in the latest spring trend! I made the design for brave women who want something different!
Quiz of which pastel colour fits your personality?
When I was younger, I used to love taking personality quizzes. Remember quizzes in child and teenager magazines? I always filled them in. I found an exciting quiz about pastels, and you can do it here.
