Glam but first coffee
Finally, it is time for the first Petite fashion magazine launch. It has been delayed for way too long, mostly because life happens and because I do this all myself! I think when I had the idea about the Petite fashion magazine in 2021, I did not have an idea how harder it is. Not the same as writing a blog post.
However, we are here in June 2022 and I wanted to announce the launch date and give you some small insight into the magazine and what you will get by subscribing to my blog. Firstly, the launch date is 30th of June which stresses me out (because there are still things that need to be done). However, the date is here, right after my birthday. I want to finish the magazine before July, so I can start July with new ideas and projects (which most likely will be Youtube channel repurpose for Petite women). Something new on Youtube for Petites, something that we are missing.
Do I need to pay for a Petite magazine?
No, the first Petite magazine will be for free. Unfortunately, I am doing it completely alone. Writing the whole magazine alone does not give the highest Vogue quality. Therefore, I did not want to ask for any money for it, even though I spent a lot of time and effort on it. Firstly, I want to see how many Petites are interested in digital magazines.
The magazine is for free but I give options to support my blog and magazine by donating to Ko-fi. You can also support my effort by shopping from affiliate links that I post on my blog and my LTK. The money I get is invested in my magazine and blog to spread information about Petites and their problems.
Cannot donate or pay? No problem. Any comment on my blog, Youtube, or social media helps. Push the follow button and subscribe button- nothing helps more than creating the support group. Share with your friends and followers my blog, Petite Magazine, and social media. After all, Let’s be friends.
What you will see in Petite Magazine
The petite magazine will be filled with information about style and fashion. You will find everything you need to know about looks, outfits, and the best fit for short women in the magazine.
However, I always love inspiration boosts and motivational interviews. I read interviews with successful people in magazines, as well as I go to fashion conferences just to inspire myself. Therefore, you will read some surprise interviews of successful Petite women.
As a bonus, it took me months to create the full list of petite brands and retailers for short women. I tried my best to not exclude anyone. However, if you notice that something or someone is missing, please let me know. After all, we are creating the biggest Petite community here on my blog.
Last but not least, a lot more surprises, facts and useful information.
Do we have a Petite community?
I would not want to say that we do not have a community. We have very niche-based communities of Petite models, Petite influencers, and entrepreneurs. However, are they in a community and can they find each other easily and have their safe corner?
I am working towards creating the biggest Petite community. Last year, I started with the blog. Now I created a Petite magazine as a bible for all the short ladies. As well to keep a bit of track on Petites and see how many are interested in information and fashion for Petites.
However, I have a way bigger goal, and that includes Youtube. After summer, I want to start working on my Youtube, repurposing it and creating a space for Petites to have a conversation, laugh, and have a good time. However, for that, I will need your help. Starting with your shares and subscribing on my Youtube channel. Mostly because I cannot manage it enough if Petites do not find me and if I do not get any views and subscribers. I have huge plans on doing lives with you, talking about short women problems, discrimination and even invite guests over to talk about interesting subjects. However, for that I will need you to support me and show that it would be something interesting and useful for you!
Will there be a 2nd edition?
The 2nd edition depends on your feedback and how many subscribe to the Petite Magazine. If I will see it is something that you appreciate, I will have a reason to create another one. However, if I do it again, I would love to have help from proofreaders, models, brands, and designers.
