I am not a lot of resolutions type of person, I believe more in goals. But if your resolution were to have more pamper days, in that case I can help you. These are the products that I mostly use during week-ends or special pampering days (some I use more frequently).
Let’s remember that good skin reflects good health. Better skin you will have, less makeup you will need. Also if you use makeup a lot, good skincare will help the skin to fight against bad ingredients and layers of makeup. Therefore, remember to take care of your skin by natural products, and let it breathe some days (without makeup). These are the products that I discovered in 2019 and keep using in 2020 as well.
Biomed chin up firming neck cream
Firming creams I tend to use every day if not stated differently. These creams usually give some effect and results if used regularly. Why did I include it in this article? Because I discovered this Biomed medical skincare brand (made in Germany) and I am obsessed with it. I have tried their after shaving lotion, lashes serum and firming neck cream and from all of them, I have seen positive results which are really rare for this type of products.
Biomed has a lot of different type of products for pampering days as well like serums, eye masks and creams, anti-age products and many others. This is the brand that surprised me with how effective the products are!
Biomed is a cruelty-free and organic brand from Germany. Chin up firming cream is meant for sensitive skin!
Very natural odour, soft and creamy but not oily. Will last for a long time!

Tilk Bio facial scrub
I have found my favourite face scrub and it comes from Tilk Bio. I discovered that I liked peeling gels more than scrubs because scrubs tend to be very abrasive and harsh for my skin, sometimes very drying as well. Then I discovered facial scrub from Tilk Bio that is very moisturising and gentle.
The scrub has almost no scent, and when massaging into skin, I like that the cream part soaks into my skin leaving it very soft and leaves behind the smart parts of scrub that you just wash off with warm water. Its effect comes from coconut oil, castor oil, calendula, horsetail and alchemilla. I have heard some people break out from coconut oil but I have not noticed it on my skin. This scrub is for all skin types. I like the feeling that it gives- like a scrub made in the home only more luxurious.
Tilk Bio comes from Estonia and all the products are made with love. Cruelty- free, vegan, mineral oil-free. The owner is very smart about herbs and organic products and skincare and uses the knowledge to create the best natural products for your skin. I have also tried their eye cream, tinted moisturiser and lip balm and I am literally obsessed with this brand and their products! Eye cream and lip balm I use daily and I am almost out of tinted moisturiser already!
What I really would love to try out are their summer products for tanned and bronze skin!

Pixi beauty Vitamin-C collection (cleanser and lotion)
This year started by Pixi beauty adding me to their PR list and kicking me out of it- Good year! I will still talk about the brand because I am thankful that they gave me an opportunity to try it out and discover their products (even though I still do not have an opinion of their makeup), but I do have a lot of opinions of their skincare products.
The last collection I tried out were Vitamin-C collection that changed my whole daily routine. Vitamin-C transformed my skin and make it look extra healthy and with extra glow. I do not use the Vitamin-C serum every day because it sometimes seems too strong for my skin, especially dry areas and my nose- it literally feels and looks like a lemon juice but other products are my go-to.
I fell in love with the cleanser from the first glance because I like the idea that you do not need to wash it off– it is for lazy people or busy people and I am all in for it! After that apply the lotion and you are ready to go! Be careful with the quantity- you do not need a lot!

L’oreal skincare (Revitalift red day cream and extraordinary night cream)
With L’oreal I have love and hate relationships. Why? Because it is one of the most popular brands for years (even my boyfriend knows it), it has one of the best mascaras and some lipsticks are great as well. Last year I discovered that their face masks and creams are very high level but- the ingredients they have in their products (at least makeup) are so bad and dangerous for health!
I have read of all the metals etc. they have in lipsticks (therefore I avoid their lipsticks) and I noticed that True match concealer hurt and burn my eyes by only being near them! This brand that earns so much money could have changed their ingredients and also be cruelty-free- they can afford it but do not do it- why?
If we talk about the skincare- I do like it a lot! The first product was the clay mask and it is my favourite mask I have owned! Their clay masks help a lot for large pores like mine. Now I am using red day cream of Revitalift that makes the skin soft and younger-looking as well as the night cream that moisturises my skin at nights and gives it all the minerals! I was not expecting such a great creams from L’oreal!

Iroha Nature Nourishing and renewal sleeping face mask
Another brand that I discovered in 2019 is Iroha nature! A vegan brand that has all kind of skincare. Sleeping face mask is the best for lazy or busy people as well who do not want to spend hours for their skincare. Apply the mask and go to sleep- that is it! This face mask from Iroha nature is hemp cannabis Sativa seed oil that is completely vegan, has very specific herb scent to it, moisturises my skin and I always use it on my pamper days!
Iroha Nature sleeping face mask is meant for normal and dry skin type! Maybe that is why it works great for me- I have in general normal skin type with dry patches around the nose and forehead. This face mask received Beauty awards London of 2019!
I have also tried their eye patches witch are foil eye patches that are great for early morning or hot summer days to give cooling effects for eyes, minimise under-eye bags and blue circles.
