What are these fashion trends 2022 for?
For most women in age between 25-40, but some of them are suitable for teenagers, or women over 40s as well. Talking about the fit, these are great for Petites, tall women, or curvy women (we do not exclude anyone here).
Fashion trends in 2022
90’s bucket hat
One of the trends that I have never liked because it reminds me of fishermen is the 90’s bucket hat. I think that Justin Timberlake also wore it. In general, I hate people making 90’s style famous as we now know how toxic it was for many famous people. However, I had a chance to get the bucket hat, and I was so shocked when I saw it looking great on me. With some specific makeup and outfit, it looks normal. This bucket hat from the picture fits great also on bigger heads which surprised me.
The power suit
Do you know what is real women’s power, especially in fashion? Bold and colourful! Great for business ladies and women over 40. If your style is not too classy or you do not have where to wear a power suit, I suggest only getting a blazer. I want a blazer myself in some fun colours. Blazers can be styled with jeans, skirts, dresses, and in many different ways. (Linked regular and Petite fit).
Sustainability
In 2022 and fashion trends we will go strong with sustainability. I am happy to shop from sustainable brands. The best way to feel good is not to collect items you cannot ever use and wear. Baggy, loose denim with lower waist
I am searching for my perfect cropped straight or mum jeans to wear with heels. Cropped jeans look great on Petite women! However, in 2022 will be trendy baggy and loose denim with a lower waist which will not be my trend! I suggest styling baggy jeans with fitted tops or crop tops! (listed Regular and Petite fits).
Bold chains and cocktail rings
Cocktail rings and bold chains are famous among luxury fashion fans, as well as, teenagers! If you are into accessories, this fashion trend is for you! I do love bold chains because you can only wear loungewear but adding bold chains will make you look like a real fashionista! Therefore, bold chains are on my wish list. However, cocktail rings are too much for my taste and also for my short fingers!
Cardigans
Are you into more casual style and fashion? Then pull out all your cardigans because you will need them. I have my eye on the cute pink cardigan!
Wide pants
Wide pants are great for women in business and give a boss lady vibes. For Petites, I suggest styling wide pants with a bodysuit or fitted blouse/ top and pointy-toe heels! (Petite and regular sizes linked).
Bright colors
Bright colours pairs great with springtime! I cannot wait to finally get Fuschia pink blazer- I am searching all around! Bright colours will take over fashion in 2022.
Ballet flats
I am happy that ballet flats will be in style as I just got the best SUSTAINABLE ballet flats. Ballet flats are perfect for spring and summer. Flats look great with jeans or dresses. For Petites, I suggest getting ballet flats with pointy toes to visually lengthen your feet. Like ballet flats that I got from Vivaia shoes!
Maxi skirts
Do you have your maxi skirts for spring and summer? Because in 2022 you will need some in the collection. Maxi skirts can be styled with a denim jacket or leather jacket. If you are petite, get yourself a maxi skirt with vertical lines or preferably with a slit!
Mini Skirt ( and very mini, macro)
Here comes one of the trends that are on the edge of being trashy (sorry, not sorry). I love the mini skirt, especially because they look very good for Petites. However, as I read then the macro skirt will be the new trend. What is a macro skirt? The skirt reminds me of a stripper skirt where it does not even cover your ass! I will be honest- if I see you in a micro skirt- I WILL JUDGE YOU!
Bomber jackets
What do you think about bomber jackets? For thin women or smaller upper body parts looks perfect- for me not as much! However, pretty cute with leggings and basic tops! I have seen some trendy bomber jackets on ASOS. Therefore, will link regular and Petite options.
Nautical elements
With nautical elements, we mean sailor vibe- red, white, and blue stripes, anchors, and so on! In summer we know what to wear to the beach and our vacations!
Platforms
Platform shoes are perfect for Petites! Shoes with platforms are very comfortable and look great with summer dresses!
These are some of the fashion trends in 2022, but obviously, there are so many more. However, I want to remind you that nothing is more crucial than to be unique, and have your style and personality.
