Fall is here and I wanted to update you on fall fashion trends 2020. As always I am sharing all the trends that designers have put out for us. My raw opinion about these trends- will they fail or pass? Remember that these articles are just for fun, do not take it too seriously! I love a good laugh of funny looking trends! Some, though, I cannot wait to shop for! Comment down below which were your most or least favorites!

Cropped blazers
Many years ago I was only wearing cropped jackets but I realized that they make me look shorter than I already am. That is when I started to wear longer jackets and blazers. Right now I am searching for a colorful and long blazer. However, this fall brings the trend of cropped blazers.
I can see cropped blazers fashion trends to look great with high waisted skirts or pants. Cropped blazers with the asymmetric design would look amazing as well!
Doll dresses (voluminous dresses)
Pair with tall boots or military ankle boots.
These doll dresses look better on thin ladies. Because they give a lot of volume to the body. Therefore my body would not be too pretty in this kind of dress. However, again it depends on the design of the dress!
Bra tops under jackets and sweaters
Ughhh, at least they call it as it is! Bra, not bralette. Let’s see women wearing bra forgetting of their jackets because that is what will happen. You know that I am not a fan of bralettes. I do not see any reasoning, logic, or comfort. In my opinion, it is a line crossing where we cannot see the difference between underwear and shirt. Ladies, keep a secret! We do not need to see them all! However, I do support the small sneak and peek moment. For example. Wearing a sweater on one shoulder, to have a sneak peek over the bralette. With blazer though it seems she forgot to put a blouse on!
Marigold
What is marigold? I was wondering the same thing. Turns out it is this specific flower. And when they talk about fashion, it means the color of the flower. For fall fashion trends yellow shade looks very great!
Voluminous Sheer overlays
If used with caution and not overusing it, it can look cute for some. Usually, for smaller and tinier figures it looks great, as puffy shoulders or sleeves. I, however, not a big fan of these as I have broad shoulders and these puffy sleeves do not look great on me!
Drawstring details
I remember that this was already in the spring season and are following into fall fashion trends as well. Not my favorite detail, it seems very old-school as well. I remember I used to have a mini dress for going out with drawstrings on the side. When will I remember to not throw anything out because one day it will return in style?
Some blouses and shirts have drawstring details on the sleeves, kinda living for that detail though.
Dresses with pants
It took me a long time to start loving cute dresses paired with sneakers. I just kinda do not accept the tomboy and barbie style in one. However, I love dresses with sneakers now and maybe someday I will wear my dress with pants. Now, however, for me, I cannot see this style to occupy my wardrobe. How about you?
Chainmail mesh
Armor, sparkles, and see-through! I think this is my least favorite trend up until now! You can call me antique, old, granny, or however you like, but women should not walk around half-naked and pay 100 dollars for metal mesh! For my eyes, this trend looks cheap, ugly, horrible that I would only see on some girl that dances in a club on the table.
Except, if it is paired with a cute blazer, or a tank top underneath. Or as this cute mini black dress, I saw from Camila Coelho for only $68! It is a black mini dress with chain mesh dress on it and that does look dope for some special occasion.
Fall fashion trends are going interesting this year.
Maxi sheaths
What maxi sheaths are? Well, do you know how grecque ancient columns look like? Wearing this you would look just like a column and could be one in Athens. It is a beige, long gown right until the floor. The maxi sheath has Long sleeves and it falls down your body wrapping you in…. Like a column. I cannot imagine this on me, do not want to, and will not to.
Over the top ruffles
I love ruffles. I f you are following me for a while, all my latest bikini, top, and skirt purchases are with ruffle details. However, I am a bit nervous about the top ruffles. They do not convince me. The first thing that comes in my mind is the dangerous clowns with their ruffle collar around the neck.
Another reflection is Dior with its ruffle shoulders details. I have broad shoulders therefore anything over the top is not for me!
However, I do like a ruffle skirt or ruffle dresses! What is your favorite fashion detail? Because for me it would be ruffles for sure!
Rust
I learned a new color. It is called rust. Well, it looks like rust-brown, reddish. For fall this is a perfect tone. Even though browns have never been my top colors. None earth colors are- nor brown nor green. I love nude shades or rarely very light browns for sweaters or skirts!
However, I was surprised by how beautiful some pieces look. As far as looking luxurious and something to go to the event or job!
Oil-slick metallics
These are holographic metallics. I am not a fan of metallic shades, nor in closet nor makeup. How about you? But I feel like this again depends on how you put it. I can imagine there would be some minimalistic pieces that could pair with jeans. There are always nice executions that I end up loving at the end.
So far I have seen some mini dresses and sports leggings that look bomb. Reminds me of pink golden snakeskin.
Drop-waist silhouettes
Unfortunately, I love it and I also have one dress this way. Why unfortunately? Because for my body type these are not the most flattering to wear. As I have a little curvy hourglass figure, this can make me look like a birthday candle on a cake! The best silhouettes are those that snatch me in a waist.
Colorful leather
The only colorful leather I have worn and would wear is for the footwear. I have had the cutest red ankle boots that give a nice accent to black leggings or jeans. This is something I can imagine myself getting for this trend.
Lately, I am not into colorful clothing in general (Except for some pieces to add accent, like pink or red). But colorful leather for me is a no. I love black leather the most because it looks bossy and luxurious.
Maybe some baby light pink leather jacket I would not say no to!
Patchwork coats
Patchwork is a no from me! This seems extreme and pays for it seems even more extreme. Reminds me of old school granny blankets or carpets. What do you think about patchworks in fall fashion trends?
Fringe
Fringe is one of my least favorite detail and until now I did not even know how you call it. The cowboy type of detail. Fringe looks cute on jackets and some blazers but in the end, I still not into this style at all!
Puff sleeves
Another trend that just does not look cute on me. However, it does look cute on tiny, thin ladies. Therefore if you are into this, go for it! I think the fall is the perfect time for puff sleeves.
Chartreuse
Another new name for my vocabulary. It is between green and yellow. Very rare and interesting tone but shockingly looks great for fall. Something to add as a colorful part of the fall wardrobe.
A puffer skirt
Coat but for legs? Well, no thanks 😀 This looks like a comforter in a feminine way. Maybe for $5 to wear around the home during cold days. Another reason I cannot see this as being in my wardrobe is my figure!
Multi-tone pants
Do you remember some years ago there were jeans with patches in style? Patches from different colored denim? I never fell for this trend and I feel like I will not fall for this also this year. To be honest, the more I go on with my life, the more simple and classy I want to dress. I prefer more one-toned colors. Something that can be paired easily together.
Attention on the hips
That does not mean the tight, quiet opposite. As I saw on photos of this trend, as big as possible. But a nicer way to pull this trend off is by classic peplum top. Loving that design and I still have some peplum type of blouses. This trend is something I could pull off.
Knee-length shorts
I hate that length but if it takes denim underwear (I mean booty shorts) away then I am all in and supportive of this trend! I have made it clear how much I hate booty shorts! If that is feminism now, then I hate it! It used to be stripper wear and I still see it as a stripper fashion. Looks cheap and tacky. Respect is earned not demanded and your style is the first impression! If you beg for attention this way, it will give the wrong impression about yourself! Therefore, get yourself some knee-high shorts, leave your booty for your man!
This is all for fall fashion trends for women 2020. Which was your favorite or least favorite? I got the list HERE (you can also check some more pictures there).
