Do not worry- if you do not have any budget yet, just start! Use your phone as the start-up and do not worry about the quality.

But if you have a little bit of budget or maybe birthday coming up, these are devices that will help you start your blogging and vlogging journey and make you look more professional.

These are the devices that I got when I had a budget and which are a minimum for small YouTubers and bloggers to have (professional bloggers have at least two cameras, many lenses and other gadgets that I do not have and do not think I will have them any time soon).

🇬🇧 When I had the opportunity to finally get my ever first serious camera, I first understood what is my budget! Then accordingly to my budget, I was searching for cameras which are good and suitable for Youtube but not the most expensive ones at the same time.

What means suitable for Youtube? Depends on what you want to film. I was searching camera for use at home, to film beauty videos (myself) and take photos. Therefore it was a must for me to find a camera with a rotating screen.

If you are a more on-a-go person who travels and film vlogs a lot, then you should look into a small vlogging camera (Canon and Sony have great ones) but still choose the ones with a rotating screen.

I have still not learned everything about the camera and its settings but what I would advise is to find good instruction online. I found mine online and that way you will learn to use your camera fully, make the quality of your videos and photos better, as well as make every penny worth it!

🇬🇧 I had Samsung S5 that I used for around 5 years and worked perfectly (still works but not as perfect). That is the reason why I went for Samsung again and this time got S10e. I especially asked for large memory, fast-working and to have a good camera. Samsung has the best cameras, in my opinion.

I have used this phone for half a year and can tell you that large memory is very important. As a blogger, you will want to use and download a lot of apps for editing, social media and others, as well as many photos and videos! I feel like the camera options need to learn as much as the Nikon camera I have. Samsung gives so many options and possibilities to change zooms, have night vision and all kind of great settings to make the best photos!

🇪🇸 Tenía Samsung S5 que usé durante unos 5 años y funcionó perfectamente (todavía funciona pero no tan perfecto). Esa es la razón por la que fui por Samsung nuevamente y esta vez obtuve S10e. Especialmente pedí memoria grande, que funcciona rápido y tener una buena cámara. Samsung tiene las mejores cámaras, en mi opinión.

He usado este teléfono durante medio año y puedo decirte que la memoria grande es muy importante. 🇬🇧 I bought a tripod a long time ago when I had a very simple, small camera and I thought I would start practising making videos. Later on, I discovered that the camera switches off and does not film videos, so the tripod was just waiting there for its spotlight.

I went to the electronics store and asked for tripods. Took the simplest, non-brand tripod because it was much cheaper and as a beginner, I do not see a necessity to buy expensive tripod!

Can change the height and degrees of the tripod as well as many ankles. Very easy and simple to use, comes in a bag that I sometimes bring with me when I go for longer trips.

I would suggest having a hard disk if you are going to make videos because most likely your phone and laptop will not have enough space and memory. When filming videos for youtube or any other platform and reason; it is good to have them saved up on hard disk in case something happens- to have a backup.
