Glam but first coffee🇬🇧 What do you think about Valentines’ Day? I think it is American day and why would we need to celebrate it, but at the same time- we need to celebrate every day! Also, I do see it is a commercial day! However, I decided to share some date ideas at home that I do myself.
If you like to do something special on this day (especially as it is Friday). I would suggest making a date at home because I think it would be crazy to go out on this day (full streets and restaurants and cinemas).
Therefore the idea came to my mind- to write about date ideas at home: less noise, less stress and also fewer expenses. And to be honest, these work great also if you will spend the day with friends or alone.
🇪🇸 ¿Qué opinas sobre el día de San Valentín? Creo que es el día de América y por qué deberíamos celebrarlo, pero al mismo tiempo, ¡tenemos que celebrarlo todos los días! Además, ¡veo que es un día comercial!
Si te gusta hacer algo especial en este día (especialmente porque es viernes). Te sugiero que hagas una cita en casa porque creo que sería una locura salir ese día (calles, restaurantes y cines llenas).
Fue entonces cuando se me ocurrió la idea: escribir sobre ideas para citas en casa: menos ruido, menos estrés y también menos gastos. Y para ser honesto, esto funciona muy bien también si pasarás el día con amigos o sol@.
Wine and dine/ El vino y la cena
🇬🇧 You do not have to go out in order to date and wine your partner and yourself. Buy tasty wine (or two), and get groceries for your tasty dinner. I enjoy a lot of cooking together with my partner. It can turn into a lot of fun and perfect teamwork which gives you both a great opportunity to have conversations and laugh.
Do not forget to make your table beautiful, put on some flowers and candles. You can even dress up and put on your heels (even better because you are home and can take them off whenever they hurt your feet). My favorite of all date ideas at home!
🇪🇸 No tienes que salir para beber vino y tener una cena romantica con tu pareja. Compre vino sabroso (o dos), y compre los alimentos para su sabrosa cena. Disfruto mucho cocinando junto con mi pareja, puede convertirse en un trabajo en equipo muy divertido. Perfecto que les brinda a ambos una gran oportunidad para conversar y reír.
No te olvides de embellecer tu mesa, ponte algunas flores y velas. Incluso puedes vestirte y ponerte los tacones (incluso mejor porque estás en casa y puedes quitártelos cada vez que te lastiman los pies).
PJs, movies and popcorn/ Pijamas, peliculas y las palomitas
🇬🇧 If you are a lazy and more simple kind of person who is tired of everything and just wants to rest, PJs and movies could be just for you!
Imagine getting comfy in your pyjamas, choosing some of your favourite movies and make some tasty popcorn and other snacks. Then take your partner by his hand and snuggling on the couch! Oh, I think this can be my favourite type of date!
I have always loved movies and many times I prefer them at home than in the cinema! Mostly for the same reason- I do not need to leave my PJs and I can watch many movies in a row and go to sleep right away. Perfect and affordable date!
P.S. Advice for women? It does not have to be a Disney PJs! 😉 Advice for men? Cuddle her good and let her choose the movie!
🇪🇸 Si eres una persona perezosa y más simple que está cansada de todo y solo quiere descansar, ¡los pijamas y las películas podrían ser para ti!
Imaginate ponerte cómoda en tu pijama, elegir algunas de sus películas favoritas y hacer algunas sabrosas palomitas de maíz o bocadillos. ¡Luego toma a tu compañero de la mano y acurrucarse en el sofá! ¡Oh, creo que este puede ser mi tipo de cita favorita!
¡Siempre me han gustado las películas y muchas veces las prefiero en casa que en el cine! Principalmente por la misma razón: no necesito dejar mis pijamas y puedo ver muchas películas seguidas e irme a dormir de inmediato. Fecha perfecta y asequible!
PD Consejos para mujeres? ¡No tiene que ser una pijama de Disney! 😉 Consejos para hombres? ¡Abrázala bien y déjala elegir la película!
Beer and table games/ La cerveza y los juegos de la mesa
🇬🇧 This idea is if you want to be more active and do something more on the day not just eat and sleep. More for an edgy and neighbourhood girl type of thing. I have already talked in so many posts of how much I love table games. They make a great part of any party, great gift idea and amazing date idea!
Why beer? Well, obviously it can be any kind of alcohol. Beer just seemed as edgy as table games are and I am that type of girl who likes a good beer. I have my Latvian blood in me!
🇪🇸 Esta idea es si quieres ser más activa y hacer algo más en el día, no solo comer y dormir, más para una chica nerviosa y de barrio. Ya he hablado en muchas publicaciones sobre cuánto amo los juegos de mesa. ¡Son una gran parte de cualquier fiesta, una gran idea para un regalo y una increíble idea para una cita!
¿Por qué cerveza? Bueno, obviamente puede ser cualquier tipo de bebida. La cerveza parecía tan majo como los juegos de mesa. Yo soy ese tipo de chica a la que le gusta una buena cerveza. ¡Tengo mi sangre letona en mí!
Order meal at home/ Pedir la comida a casa
🇬🇧 Remember that if you are very lazy on this day. Do not want to cook and do anything on this day and want just to relax and chill. There is always an option to order any type of food at home (bonus of living in the 21st century). This will make you both relaxed and you both can choose whatever meal you want. However, still serve them on beautiful plates to make the vibe more romantic!
🇪🇸 Recuerda que si eres muy vaga este día y no quieres cocinar y hacer nada en este día y solo quieres relajarte. Siempre hay una opción para pedir cualquier tipo de comida en casa (extra de vivir en el siglo XXI). Esto hará que ambos estén relajados y que ambos puedan elegir la comida que quieran. ¡Sigue sirviéndolos en hermosos platos para hacer que el ambiente sea más romántico!
Bath, petals and champagne/ Baño, pétalos y champán
🇬🇧 Are you a very romantic person? Maybe some bath with Lush bath bombs or essential oil, scented candles, rose petals and some glass of champagne! Oh, I really miss having a bath (I do not have a bath at home)! I have also never been in a bath with my partner (TMI). But I bet it is a cute, romantic and special moment to share- before movies or after movies!
🇪🇸 ¿Eres una persona muy romántica? ¡Tal vez un baño con bombas de baño de LUSH o aceite esencial, velas perfumadas, pétalos de rosa y una copa de champán! ¡Oh, realmente extraño bañarme (no tengo una bañera en mi piso)! Nunca he estado en una bañera con mi pareja (demasiado de info jaja). Pero apuesto a que es un momento lindo, romántico y especial para compartir antes o después de las películas.

🇬🇧 I already finished writing this blog when I went searching for suitable photos and saw a photo of PlayStation! Women can pressure men to celebrate these days of love. Pressure them into buying gifts, watching romantic movies with us and no surprise that they are not as excited of these days as women are! Surprise your man, put on your cutest pyjamas and play some Playstation with him! You will not die, he will be happy, I promise, and you can even enjoy!
