Guide of the best cruelty-free Korean beauty brands. People that follow my social media know that I have been a YesStyle ambassador for a long time. I love to review their Korean fashion and Petite category items. However, I somehow ignored the fact that they also offer Korean skincare. A few days ago, it struck me like a lightning bolt, and I had an idea. What if I write about cruelty-free Korean beauty brands?
Firstly, I will try my best to keep these lists of brands updated as they change every single year. Secondly, I will start with a few that I found are cruelty-free. However, there are so many brands that I am sure I will miss some. For some brands, I could not even find the information of their cruelty-free status.

Can Korean skincare be cruelty-free?
Yes, but do not believe retailers or even brands. Research everything. Many retailers or even brands say they are cruelty-free, but in reality, they ship to China. The moment they support the Chinese market, they are not cruelty-free (as China law forces them to test on animals).
Therefore, only believe your research or specific cruelty-free blogs, like mine or Cruelty-free kitty blog.
Is YesStyle cruelty-free?
YesStyle is not cruelty-free as they still sell products that are not cruelty-free. However, they do offer a lot of cruelty-free brand options. Therefore, to learn more about them, read this blog post, and in the future, I will research and try out more of their cruelty-free brands and products. Remember, do not use their cruelty-free beauty filter on the website because it includes also non-cruelty-free brands.

Reviews and suggestions of products
In this section I will add products and brands that I have tried myself out. Unfortunately, right now I have only tried products from IUNik Korean brand. However, in future I will try more K-beauty brands. Hopefully that I will have the opportunity to try out all of them.
Therefore, follow up the blog and this blog post because it will be updated a lot with brands in general but also with my honest reviews!
IUNIK skincare
IUNIK skincare products have been included in my daily skincare routine. I like a lot their lime moisture mild peeling gel. The gel has small gel-made molecules that clean the skin and brush off the old skin layer. However, it is very soft and feels fresh afterward. I also love the fresh lime scent that the gel has- not strong at all!
Another great product that I use frequently is Rose Synergy serum. When it comes to skincare I do not like strong and bold scents- I love simplicity and freshness. Iunik skincare feels very fresh, simple and natural. Rose serum has no scent, is transparent but on the skin it feels like pulling all the skin together and making it smoother. Read full review of both products here!
COSRX brand
The Propolis synergy toner has propolis and honey extract in it. COSRX offer different propolis skincare products, but I went for the toner as I needed it. The texture is very gel like and feels super fresh and clean. Toner does not have any specific scent at all!
Another great product from COSRX are acne patches. Acne patches is something I have wanted to try for ages and now with using masks it is easy and no one sees. However, these COSRX patches in general are great because they are transparent and can barely see them. I can imagine that you could maybe even apply makeup over them.
BENTON skincare
Eye patches is something that I have wanted to try. Therefore I ordered Snail bee ultimate hydrogel eye patch from Benton. I tried to find some vegan patches but could not find any, and therefore chose these ones instead. However, they are cruelty-free because they are not tested on animals.
PURITO cruelty-free brand
I believe that we do not need to go radical to care of our planet- we just need to take one step. Therefore, each year I add a few more eco products and routine into my lifestyle. Eco makeup removal pads I have wanted for a few years! With Purito you get 10 pads, they can be used as makeup removal pads and to apply toner. However, do not ever use it for nail polish. I was nicely surprised that these pads were very soft! Do not throw them out because I almost did just because of being used to do it.
Cruelty-free Korean beauty brands are something I will look into a lot more. I want to remind you to follow the blog and check this list because I will update it with more brands and reviews. Have you tried any Korean brands? Let me know in the comments section
