However, I tried to somehow categorise all the gorgeous dresses I found and came up with these categories. Firstly, dresses to impress (most shimmering, stunning, red carpet type of dresses and outfits for the New Year party. Secondly, dresses for Petite women that are not into sequins and too much shimmers. Last but not least, more casual dresses (dresses for more casual events, like house parties, maybe a bar and so on).

Firstly, I know it is not a dress. However, how impressive, sparkling and stunning it is! If you want to show up like a boss lady, in a jumpsuit not dressed, then I would suggest you have this! Slits on legs are stunning and lengthen legs!

The dress gives goddess vibes and this is my favourite shade when it comes to metallics.
Bardot feather trim dress
What can give more red carpet vibe than a feather trim dress? Nothing. Therefore, if you are going to a Hollywood-themed event, this is your Petite dress.
Cowl neck sequin dress (Dorothy Perkins)
The sequin dress comes in beige and navy colours. However, what I love the most is that it has sequins and shimmers, but does not cover the whole dress. Therefore, the dress looks even more luxurious and probably could be work all year around even to some summer weddings.

The mock neck midi dress gives me an Egyptian goddess vibe.

I found the best New Year’s eve dress for women over 30 or more, and those who are always cold!
For Petites that do not like shimmer (too much)
Pearl embellished tulle dress (Coast)
I found the most elegant princess or queen dress for New Year’s party and even a red carpet. The top part has black sequins and pearl detail. However, the skirt is all tulle! This dress gives me a black swan vibe.
Satin pleated wrap dress
If you are into elegant satin dresses, check out this beautiful dress from Dorothy Perkins.
Satin belted flare dress (Ann Taylor)
Another great satin dress from Ann Taylor in this beautiful deep lagoon blue tone. By the way, I ordered one beautiful dress in the same colour (stay tuned). However, this dress is a little bit more casual than the one from Dorothy Perkins. The dress would be gorgeous for a work party or even calm family party at home.
Shimmer pleated wrap dress
Are you into a little bit of shimmer but not too much? Then this Ann Taylor dress is made for you! The dress is stunning, having a soft shimmer look.
