Monochromatic outfits
Monochromatic looks will make you look taller and your legs longer. Especially if the outfit is in your skin colour, it will visually make the woman look taller.
Mini skirt over maxi skirt
Relieving more of your leg’s skin will make your legs look longer. A mini skirt is a go-to for any woman if you want to show off some legs. However, please avoid micro skirts and too-short skirts!
Choose skirt and dresses with a slit
However, if you do love maxi or midi skirts and dresses more than mini. I suggest always buying a midi and maxi skirt that has a slit. A slit in a skirt looks so flattering on a woman!
Vertical lines
Choose vertical lines for optical illusion and fewer horizontal lines. Pants or jumpsuits with vertical stripes will visually lengthen your legs. However, horizontal stripes will make you look wider, shorter and bigger.
High-waisted pants and skirts
2000s style and low-waisted trends coming back. However, I suggest to all women, especially Petite women, to continue choosing high-waisted pants and skirts. Firstly, high or mid-waisted is more classy and elegant. Secondly, it is also a lot more flattering on women than low-waisted will ever be.
Pointed-toe shoes
When shopping for shoes and footwear, look at pointed-toe shoes rather than square and rounded toes. Pointed-toe shoes will make your feet and legs look extra long. However, rounded and square toes shoes would “cut” your legs.
Avoid ankle straps
Ankle straps on shoes create horizontal lines on your legs, and we do not like horizontal stripes when trying to look longer. Therefore, choose pumps and do not choose flats or high heels with wide ankle straps.
