How to choose a dress as a Petite?
- Choose a smaller flower print instead o a big flower pattern. It will blend in better, and will also be more wearable.
- Mini dresses will visually lengthen your legs. Therefore, I suggest mini dresses rather than maxi dresses.
- Dresses with cinched in waist will also lengthen your legs and work as a “rule of thirds”.
- However, if it is an a-line dress or an oversize dress, use a belt to cinch in!
- If you want a midi or maxi dress, choose the one with a slit!
- Talking about the neckline, the V-neckline and heart neckline are the most flattering for Petite women.
- 2/3 sleeves look more flattering for Petite women than long sleeves. That will also let you shop from regular pages, and make sure that sleeves are not too long.

Cut-out flower dress
During winter, I shopped for the cheapest Petite fashion items on ASOS, and found this stunning dress! The petite textured mini dress with ring detail looks very flattering on women because of the cut-out detail on the waist.
Some people will say the dress will be more suitable for summer fashion. However, I live in Spain and here in April and May it can be already very hot. Finally, the flower print is very subtle for women that are not bold pattern lovers.
