I am in the beauty mood today and decided to write about my 3 TOP worth the splurge foundations. If you have been following me for a while then you know that I am not exactly a fan or sister of foundations. I find them to be heavy, cakey, and melting on me and many times to be too dark (I am pretty pale).
Therefore, I do like to share some foundations that I find great and long-lasting. Whenever some foundation surprises me I want to share that with you because I feel like it is a great and special event! Today I wanted to talk with you about the 3 TOP worth the splurge foundations that I have found over the last years.
Clinique Even Better

Information: SPF15. Light-weighted but good coverage.
As it is the summer here, I wanted to start by Clinique Even Better foundation. Why? Because I find this foundation to be especially extra light but at the same time high coverage and feeling good on my skin.
A year ago I did the first impression and a review video by testing the Clinique Even Better foundation at 40° C. If you are interested then that video you can see HERE.
Clinique Even Better foundation is still one of those foundations that I chose when I am going somewhere special, and I am scared to be a melted mess. Even after hours, even if it starts to “fade”, the foundation does not leave you with ugly face and patches all over it. It just disappears without you looking like a mess.
Last but not least, Clinique Even better has an SPF15 that is so important during summer months.

MAC studio Fix fluid foundation

Information: SPF15. Many red carpet stars use it. Matte finish. High coverage.
It has always been in trends to find out all the secrets that Hollywood stars use. Media and paparazzi try to discover their beauty and fashion secrets and ask these questions in interviews. Scott Barnes (J. Lo makeup artist) is very famous for his makeup and for his talent to turn J.Lo into a fabulous glow queen. He now shares his secrets on his Youtube channel. What do these stars use to always look their best?
I can tell you that one of the TOP 1 red carpet brands has always been MAC. In the 90s, MAC was exclusive for celebrities and since then has been an important part of fashion weeks. How does the skin look so even and good even after hours in front of cameras? Probably by using the MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation. I am not lying, MAC studio Fix foundation is used by such stars as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and SIA.
The foundation also has a sun protection SPF15 which for summer is especially important!

I have a special feeling and relationships with the By Terry brand. Terry was the first-ever brand that sent me a PR package and I felt so honored. Receiving a package from such a good luxurious brand made me feel very special and gave me the push I needed to start my blog and Youtube channel!
ByTerry Cover-Expert was the second product I received from the brand and fell in love with it. I will be honest, I like to use it during winter even though the tone for me is more suitable for summer (it is a little bit darker than my normal skin tone). Why in winter? Because the texture is very thick and it has very high coverage. The foundation is very good coverage and gives the nice glow finish.
The same as other foundations that I mentioned, this has an SPF15 as well. Therefore I am writing about these foundations in the summertime because in summer I always choose my foundations that have an SPF in them. I would still recommend using a base or sunscreen with even higher SPF underneath!
