My classy ladies, let’s talk about 10 fashion mistakes that women make in 2021! I have done a few of these, and I am sure that you have. Why do I write about fashion mistakes and how to dress? Because I see that more and more women dress tasteless only for attention, wrong attention. Therefore, I want to teach young women about clothes and responsibility!
Yes, clothes and your style is your CV- it talks a lot about you! Clothing tells about your values, your job, what you think about yourself. Do you respect yourself and your body? We can read that from your clothes! (You can read more about the topic on my blog post I wrote months ago- You are what you wear!) Therefore, be responsible for what you wear, be classy, feel confident in elegant clothing! However, now let’s learn about the Ten fashion mistakes that women make in 2021!
SHOWING TOO MUCH SKIN
The most horrible trend of 2021 is looking like a sexualized 16-year old Britney Spears. I think that women really laugh about those times and Britney itself- very disrespectful. No one wants to see a 20-30-year-olds having piggy tails and dressing like a six-year-old!
However, in general, showing too much skin can appear tasteless! Some tips for you are: not wear booty shorts- those are for STRIPPERS! Also, choose if you want to reveal more of your decollete or your legs- do not do both!
Too much cheap clothing- invest In a few good pieces!
Invest in a few good pieces, and then have fun with a few affordable, trendy clothing. However, do not collect a bunch of cheap clothing, that you will never wear. Firstly, think about the environment and your pocket! Secondly, yes, financially it is smarter to invest in few fashion essentials than collect clothing.
Wearing clothes too loose to hide fat
The most common fashion mistake for women is to wear loose clothes to hide fat. However, too loose clothing can make your body look fatter and without any shape! If you do want to wear loose clothing, I suggest pairing a loose hoodie with biker shorts! Always mix loose clothing with tight pieces.
Bad fitting clothing also will look cheap and messy! Find what is your body type and then study what is the best way to dress!
Wearing a bralette as a crop top
Bralette is not a crop top. PERIOD! I have seen only a few beautiful, elegant and suitable bralettes for public wear. If you wear a bralette, it is meant to be worn with a low neckline sweater, jackets, or sheer tops! My favorite way is to style it with cropped, knitted cardigan!
Accessorize too much
Women that accessorize too much can look very cheap and tasteless! You will look more luxurious with a few trendy or minimalistic pieces. Invest in a few good-quality jewelries! I suggest Adina’s Jewels because their quality and price ratio are the best!
It used to be tacky to mix silver and gold. However, now it is very trendy to mix some gold and silver pieces. I am also obsessed with personalised necklases, I recently ordered one from If She!
Wearing heels that are too high
The most important part is to always feel comfortable and good! However, high heel shoes are usually not very comfortable nor even look stylish anymore! Nice kitten sandals or wedges are way more stylish and also comfortable!
Keeping worn-out clothing
Throw out worn-out clothing! Old clothing washed thousands of times, and just fabric is very worn out, will always look bad on you! Do not hold yourself on your cherished old black dress or top!
Wearing clothes that are too small
Hand in the air if you have tried to get into a smaller size? I have done it two years ago, but it is never a good idea! Your love handles, tummy, and everything that you feel uncomfortable with will always look worse in smaller sizes! Do not worry about the size tag, worry about how it looks like!
Being classy, not trendy is the new trend!
Be an individual, and do not be afraid to pass on a few trends. Do not try to shop and wear every trend possible. Create an individual style that makes you feel good and look good! Firstly, shopping for trends is very environmentally unfriendly, financially it hurts your pockets and in the end- not every trend is going to suit you!
